He was losing the touch of his senses. Damian couldn't feel any part of his body, he couldn't feel his body, and the pain was withering away.

His eyes remained open, he stared at the sky. The rainwater hit his eyes and drenched him. His blood mixing with the water creates a metallic smell around him.

The thought of Serena and Pietro broke his heart.

'You swore you would never hurt me, but..' He thought before everything went blank.

The day began with the Easton mansion receiving a subpoena. The notice from the court had ruined the once so-perfect morning.

Serena stared at the paper,  her face pale. Damian had filed a concubinage case against her, Pietro, and Jax.

The notice didn't surprise her. What shocked her was the nerve of the man to include Jax in their fight. She raises her gaze to the sky.

They were seats outside in the garden. Trying hard to stomach the food she was eating.
