Chapter Twenty Six

David walked down the hall carrying a paper bag and a bouquet of flowers. He smiled at the few who recognized him. Well, this isn't the first time he visited the place. However, the frequency of David's arrival is usually only once every two or three months. But since Andrew and he moved to Manila, he can come more often.

Maybe not as often as he wanted because Andrew could suspect him.

After turning in the last hallway, he stopped at a door at the end of the hall. He slowly opened the door and sighed. When he stepped inside, he had a smile on his face.

"Aunt, I'm here again!" David exclaimed.

But there was no reply. He closed the door slowly and walked towards the table in the middle of the room. He put the bag and bouquet of flowers he was carrying. He saw a vase with flowers that had almost dried up and the flowers were already withered. A sign that it has been so long since his last visit. He sighed.
