Chapter Forty Nine

It was almost midnight when Macy and Andrew arrived at their apartment building.

David should have brought Andrew – or they could have called a replacement driver. But with their argument, Andrew just wants to go home alone.

Therefore, Macy offered to take the man home. After all, they live in the same apartment building – even though David doesn't know it and Macy doesn't drink alcohol at all. David is very grateful because he can't let his cousin go home by taxi alone.

Macy watched Andrew walk to his unit. The man didn't talk at all during their drive. Honestly, she was a little worried. However, this is the man's personal matter. The issue was related to his biological mother. Even if she wanted to, there was nothing she could offer to help Andrew.

"Macy..." the man said quietly.

Macy was still looking at Andrew who was standing in front of his unit door. Andrew then slightly turned to her. "The box from yesterday, can you give it to me again?"
