Chapter One Hundred Sixty Nine

Ken stared at his lawyer intently. While he's in the studio, his lawyer calls him and says that he has to come to his office because there's something important that they need to talk about.

He didn't know what was so important, but when he entered the Lawyer's room, he could understand a little. Because the atmosphere became so tense.

The two of them didn't speak for nearly seven minutes. Even after the Lawyer's secretary came over with drinks, Ken and the lawyer didn't say anything at all.

He sighed and looked at the glass of flower tea served by the lawyer's secretary. “Lawyer Lagman, if there is anything you need to say then this is the perfect time. I can't run-”

"The decision on the appeal will be made this Thursday," the lawyer said quickly.

Ken was silent and looked at his lawyer.

Lawyer Lagman sighed and continued, "And we don't have as big a chance of winning as in the first verdict."

"You mean my son’s custody will move to Macy?"
