63.0 Great Ape Rhuda vs Granola

Planet 04

Rhudas body grew and grew. Her normally small stature changed, growing furry, turning aquamarine to match the Primal Form she'd used just beforehand. As her size became massive, Granola was holding his red eye, glaring at the night sky. "You...became an ape! Just to win?!"

"ROOOARR!"

Great Ape Rhuda beat her chest, letting out a large roar that trembled through the dark Namekian skyline. Her body was on its own now, not able to take control, seeing as she wasn't evil in the least. Thus she was beserk, and only had destruction on her mind. Her large feet lifted and began thumping around, long tail swinging back and forth as she sought out new and creative ways to pummel the ground.

Granola grit his teeth. "...Stupid move. You only made yourself a bigger target."

His hand rose and aimed for her eyes, intent to repay the pain she'd given to him by shoving the power pole into his own eyes. As he let the blast go, however, her tail rose and smacked it away. What followed was chilling to the sniper.

Rhudas green ape eyes sought him out two mountains over, and she snarled.

"Her mind is gone. Yet she can see that I'm strong and wants to beat me." Granola growled that out and flew back, but found he couldn't go very far as an invisible field kept him in place.

The field was the bounds of the fight.

"So be it. The only thing I need to do is get rid of her tail."

Granola flew over to the ape and locked onto her tail, but saw that she was fast, and had jumped to the sky. His eyes widened seeing a blast headed his direction coming right from her snout.

"Take this!" He dived out of the way and IT to her face, kicking her and shot one blast.

It might as well have been a fly which struck her. His attack didn't faze the Ape. In fact it only angered her, and she roughly began swatting his direction, trying to capture him in her grip.

"Dammit!"

He flew back again.

Time and time Granola attempted to get close enough to get her tail, but her reflexes being in Primal Form were too much for him to simply out wit. He took more damage and lay there on his back, staring at the massive Great Ape in all her glory.

"Ha...ha..." He panted and rubbed his sore eye. "To be defeated..." Granola winced and sat up, knowing his time was short.

A new energy to his left caused the sniper to jump. It was Fu, and he was holding a wooden box under his arms. "Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!" Fu said, pointing to Rhuda.

"..."

Fu looked down at Granola. "Pretty snazzy huh? Yep. She's prime in her crazy energy right now. Might as well make the most of it."

He took his sharp sword out and held it aloft, where it absorbed Rhudas Primal Energy. The ape staggered, turning to see Fu down below.

"And now the kicker." Fu smirked. "I've got enough energy now to open this bad boy. But she's too big to eat, even for a Dragon."

Slice

Her tail fell off, and with it the ape shrank down, down, until becoming invisible.

At that moment Granola's mind control fell away and he recovered his senses. He looked, seeing Fu with a glowing box, radiating with purple energy. The only thing keeping it contained was a chain wrapped around it.

"Fu!" He yelled, standing up.

The sniper was too injured to do very much, however. He held his head, where his enviable eyes were throbbing. "Huk..."

"Two down in no time." Fu chuckled. "Now all that's left is to swallow up Beerus and kill Chisato! Yep! All in a day's work!"

Fu made to leave when a purple blast came towards him. The Dark demon saw it was a hakai, and well placed, as he had to use his sword to knock it aside. His red eyes could see a new Destroyer coming down onto Namek.

"Now who is this?" Fu asked, tilting his head. "I don't remember you...oh wait! You're Shallot!"

Shallot, G.O.D tapped down and glared. "Sorry Fu. Gotta kick your ass...again."

"Don't think so~" Fu said. He threw Pandora's box to the ground where it skittered across the dirt. "But I'll play with you. Sure."

Shallots eyes glanced back, sensing Rhuda far away and low on Health. Her survival was top priority. "Granola. Go to her."

"Can't have you doing that." Fu said, coming to the Granola with his sword poised to kill. Shallot intervened, grabbing Fu's sword and baring his teeth.

"You're fighting ME." Shallot said.

Granola nodded and left the area, still holding his injured eye as he began looking around for the tiny saiyan. He saw her naked as a baby, laying on debris. "Rhuda!"

She moaned in pain and opened her eyes a tiny crack, seeing Granola. "No...! Stay back..!"

"It's okay. I'm not being controlled. The spell was broke when Fu came." He said, hoisting her up.

"I...lost?" She asked.

"No! You were winning!"

"Good..." Her eyes fluttered shut. "...I'm...glad.."

He picked her up carefully and looked around, wondering just what to do with her, since their fight hadn't ended and until it did, neither could leave the area. Thus Granola laid her onto a rock and sat near as protection.

Free from the fight now, Granola could see that Beerus and Vegeta had pretty much destroyed nearly everything despite the planets supposed immunity. There were flashes of light as those two clashed.

He watched as Fu and Shallot fought. It was clear that Shallot had the upper hand, probably due to knowing his enemies talents, and it wasn't long before Fu came down near them. "No! I can't be beaten! My experiment isn't finished yet!" He yelled, diving for Rhuda. Granola instantly stood up, despite his wobbling feet and aimed for Fu.

"You won't touch her." He said, knowing one shot was all he needed.

Shallot appeared and grabbed Fu by his neck. The saiyan destroyer Shallot looked all too happy to be doing his job, and his hand glowed purple with destructive energy. "Hakai."

Fu yelled out as he vanished into nothing.

"Finally!" Shallot rolled his shoulder and popped his knuckles. "Little bastard was annoying. How's noodles?"

Granola blinked and looked down at the girl who had fought so bravely. "She's heavily injured."

"Figures..." Shallot leaned and inspected Rhuda. He then stood up and glanced over to the fight between Beerus and Vegeta. About them he said, "...If I step in now Vegeta will be pissed. I'll have to wait until he's defeated."

Time passed. Both sat watching over Rhuda, who was sound asleep, until Vegeta must have been defeated. Beerus teleported to Shallot. "A destroyer? Since when?"

"Eh. Long story." Shallot smirked, "Watch over her. When this is over I'll have to leave right away. Not supposed to be here and all. So don't go dying on me."

Granola nodded. "I'll...try not to."

Shallot and Beerus began a fight the likes of which Granola had never seen before. He watched on in awe, until a box glowing caught his eye. Pandora's Box.

"What is this...? It needs destroyed."

Granola aimed for the box and summoned energy.

At that moment a hand cracked through the opal gem in the center of that box. No ordinary hand, but a clawed one, with dagger like tips of black color.

"What--?"

The hand reached for the lock on the box and found it, crushing it into bits. Granola knew something bad was about to happen, so he grabbed Rhuda to him and flew away as far as he could. After lying her down he spotted a winged creature headed his direction.

"Dammit!"

Granola began firing away at the monster but everything was deflected.

The Ancient one had arrived.

"Your not listening ," Grand Priest said, stopping Goku's hand easily.

"--Let me go! I've gotta save her! Broly, a little help here!"

It was that moment that Goku and Broly became surrounded by Angels and destroyers on both sides. Their chances of winning were nil.

Grand Priest sighed. "I understand you wish to help, but this is fate. Please stand by."

"No way!" Goku yelled. He tried again to budge the angel out of the way, but his hand was grabbed by Whis.

"Enough. Son Goku, he will not warn you again." Whis said.

Whis tapped his staff and Goku and Broly were brought back to their seats, beside a newly arrived Vegeta.

"Dammitttt..." The prince growled. "I was so close!"

Planet 04

Rhuda opened her eyes to see Granola standing there, topless, fighting a large dragon lady. At least she looked like a lady, with breasts. This dragon like creature was floating above the ground a little, and she was quite a bit wrinkled, her deep purple skin sagging. Two large wings kept creating bursts of wind which chilled Rhuda, and made her look down to see that she was naked. 'I'm...nude!'

It was hard to discern any other features due to the darkness she had created by destroying Nameks three suns, but one thing was clear. "That must be the Ancient one..." she said.

Granola looked back at her. "You need to get off this planet! While I hold her back."

"I can't Instant Transmission this far away..." Rhuda said, keeping her legs together and hands over her breasts on the rock, "I don't know what to do..."

"Mmm....yes, I can smell her delicious negative energy." The Dragon said.

"You won't touch her!" Granola yelled.

He shot point blank blasts to the Dragon, who cried out and swiped her large purple wing, effectively protecting her entire body with it. Rhuda, seeing she needed to help him, rose up and began charging her energy only to fall to her feet huffing.

'I'm totally drained...!'

It seemed the ancient one grew tired of playing with Granola. She rose her clawed hand and the deep black nail tips elongated, forming skewers. She flapped above him and sent those skewers towards Rhuda, who screamed and shut her eyes.

'This is it...! I'm going to be killed!'

*Drip*

*Drip*

Her eyes opened hearing the sound. In front of her was Granola, who had taken five skewers to his chest. His backside trembled and hung limply.

"Granola!" Rhuda shouted.

"I'm...fine..." he said.

The skewers lifted Granola up and out of the way, where he was flung aside. *Thud* He lay some distance away, not moving.

Rhuda tried to run over to Granola and check on him, but the Dragon got into her path. "It's time for my meal. And you're smelling quite yummy, child." The dragon said. Her voice was formal and somewhat haughty.

"No!" Rhuda said. She bent down to do a kamehameha wave but found all of her energy had been already stolen. "I...can't do anything!"

With little choice left but to retreat, she flew up but even that was too much for her body. She crashed back down on her back as the Dragon slowly floated to her, flapping her wings. It was that second Rhuda saw her features more clearly, and was shocked to see she was quite beautiful, even for a dragon. Her ears were pointed outwards with three prongs, and though bald, the top of her head had a crown like texture made of the same material as her wings.

Her body was curvy and well stocked, and the tips of her feet were clawed, with one claw at the back. The dragons eyes were large and upturned, a deep black that glint like a gem. Only the wrinkles over her textured skin told the tale of aging. She had been locked away a ver long time.

"Stay back!" Rhuda said.

She scuttled away on her bottom until hitting a rock, which the Dragon pointed to. It lifted out of the way by telekinesis. "Now then. Shall I crush you to bits first?" The Dragon asked, chuckling. "I like my meat tender."

The large rock fell towards Rhuda. She cried out, expecting death on impact, but found that the rock missed, sailing off.

"Special Beam Cannon!"

'That voice...!'

Rhuda couldn't see very well, but she could sense the new energy of her rescuer, and the Dragon gave a loud cry of rage as her chest was struck with the spiraling energy, splitting it through the middle. The lights coming from that attack Rhuda followed, seeing a white haired, red eyed half saiyan standing on a cliff with his arm raised.

The Ancient one fell down and lay there.

"Go--gohan?" Rhuda asked, wondering just how it was that he was there at all.

Gohan flew over to Rhuda. That's when she saw a glowing yellow halo above his head.

"No...!"

'He's...dead? What happened? This can't be!'

As her eyes grew round and watered over, imagining that he had been killed wrongly, Gohan leaned and grabbed her to his chest. "It's okay. I'm here now."

"But you---why are you--dead?"

He smoothed her sweaty and dirt filled bangs away and planted a kiss to her forehead. "We can talk later. For now...it was the only way to get here and help."

"Uuu.."

Rhuda sobbed, both relieved and immensely saddened that such a thing had to happen. As she cried he flew, looking for a safer place for them.

Gohan spotted two cliffs broken apart. He dove between them and sat her down on the ground. "Stay here. Don't come out, and hide your energy."

As he began to leave she grabbed the back of his white shirt, which was dirty. "...Be careful. Please."

"Don't worry. I've got this one."

Like that, Gohan flew back to the Dragon.

Rhuda huddled her knees and rocked back and forth. There were many things going through her mind, such as worrying over Kolard, Trunks, and everyone she cared about. That's when she remembered Granola. 'He...could still be alive! I have to go help him.'

Slowly she left the cave--making sure her Ki was invisible--and climbed over rocks and jumped craters until seeing Granola there on his back. "Granola!"

"Ung..." His five stab wounds bled considerably.

The sounds of battle were near and a reminder of the danger of being out in the open. Large explosions from Gohan and the Dragon kept colliding into the ground, and it was the only light source. She used the light and carefully picked Granola up, half dragging him to her hiding spot. Once she was back between the cliffs, Granola coughed and fell against her.

"Hang in there!"

"I'm sorry, Rhuda...I don't have it in me to keep going." Granola said. He huffed that out before fresh blood spurt from his chest.

"No...no...." she covered his wounds but only found her hands slick with blood. "You have to live. I'm going to--to help you."

"A noble...effort...koff..."

Despite his words she couldn't give up. Rhuda tore his shirt and made a makeshift bandage with it, wrapping his wounds tightly. He was no longer conscious, yet the saiyan girl didn't stop her efforts. 'My...life energy. If I give him some, then it might help...!'

She began channeling her Life Energy to Granola, who regained his consciousness just as she lost hers.

Gohan had blasted the Dragon at point blank range, where she roared and flapped angrily, holding the hole he'd made with the Special Beam Cannon at his arrival to the Arena. He sensed that the battle was nearly over, thanks to that well placed attack.

The Dragon attempted to skewer his chest with her talons and he jumped up, "Masenko!"

It worked. She fell down onto her wings and began rolling around. "No..! I can't be defeated! I've waited so long to be free!"

Gohan tapped back down and walked over to her, looking down angrily. "You picked the wrong people to mess with. There's no way I'll let you hurt Chisato."

"The girl....was supposed to be mine."

"Think again! She's mine, and will always be mine!" Gohan leaned down, "Ka...me...ha...me...ha!"

"CURRRSEE YOUU!"

It was over.

With the blue beam so close, the Ancient one couldn't avoid it. The attack broke apart the ground and lit up the sky as well, and as it faded Gohan saw she had been obliterated. He relaxed. "Finally..."

Rhuda woke up.

"Ah!"

She collided with Gohan, whom was bending over her and had his normal black, untidy locks.

"Ouch!" He rubbed his nose.

"Gohan! You're okay!"

Her attention was brought to Granola, who moaned weakly. Granola eventually sat up with a wince. "...I'm alive," he said, touching his chest.

A loud noise made the three look up. Beerus and Shallot were still fighting. "He's still mind controlled," Rhuda said about Beerus.

"Looks that way." Granola propped himself up against the cliff, huffing.

"The Ancient one--" she began to ask, but Gohan interrupted, "--she's defeated. You're safe, Chisato."

"!"

Of course that knowledge made her tremble and begin a heavy episode of crying, mostly with relief. "I'm really okay..." Rhuda said.

Gohan pulled his shirt off and handed it over. Rhuda stopped sniffling long enough to put it on and smiled gratefully. "Thank you...Gohan...Granola.."

Both fighters smiled gently and patted her shoulder.

A calm fell over them.

"We're still here in this Arena." Granola said after a few minutes of watching the fight.

"...Looks like it." Said Gohan.

"Ano...should I...do I have to die...?" Rhuda asked, looking between them.

"No way!" Gohan grabbed her hand and shook his head. "Not going to happen. We'll wait it out. I'm sure there's a reason for it."

Finally the fight ended. They knew it had because Shallot flew over to their hiding spot and tapped down, out of breath. "Damn. Still as strong as ever. Noodles, you doing okay?"

"Shallot!"

Rhuda hopped up and ran to him, giving him a fierce hug. He ruffled her head, saying, "Ahh. I can't stay here. But don't worry, you've got a ride coming that will bring you home."

"I do?"

Shallot grinned and flicked her nose. "Yep! Man. It's so nice to see you like this. Wish I could stay here. But the King of Time would have my head on a platter."

"Ano...Shallot? Are you really a destroyer?" She asked, taking in his outfit.

"Yup. Heh. Impressive right?"

"Yes! Very! I'm so proud of you!" Rhuda giggled, half esctastic that she had survived, and also equally happy that Shallot would do so well.

"Noodles..." Shallot sighed and lifted her chin, going in for a kiss--

--And Gohan shoved him back. "Don't think so!"

"Oi! I was totally in my element, man!" Shallot crossed his arm in a heavy sulk. "At least let me get ONE frickin kiss for saving your asses."

Granola began to chuckle for some reason behind them. His shoulders shook, "Hm hm!"

"What's so funny?" Shallot asked.

"The two of you...are still such kids." Granola laughed some more and stood up. He eyed Rhuda before dipping into a bow. "I will join the Time Patrol."

"Granola...! How wonderful! Ano, we could really use your strength!" Rhuda said. Her tail wagged eagerly.

Shallot wrapped his own tail around hers, pulling the girl to him swiftly. There he stole a kiss, much to Gohans displeasure, whom growled and yanked her away. "Hands off, Shallot."

"Yeah yeah. I got what I wanted anyway." Shallot winked and turned around, "Zamasu! You're late! Going to stay up there all day?"

"Shut up."

The grumpy voice belonged to Lord Zamasu, who dropped down and gave them all a scowl. "Let's get this over with. What? Why is Son Gohan here?"

"Er..." Gohan rubbed his head a little. He cleared his throat, "I uh, kinda saw everything, thanks to Baba's crystal ball. When Chisato blew up the suns everything got dark. I couldn't see the fight after that. So...well, here I am!"

Zamasu clicked his tongue and shoved Gohan away, taking Rhudas hand. His gray eyes closed. "Hold still."

'Woah! He's...healing me?'

Energy and endorphins flowed through her veins, bringing the saiyan girl back to full Health. She flexed her fingers and jumped a time or two before giving Zamasu a hug that squeezed his breath out. "Thank you, Lord Zamasu!"

"G-Get off me!"

"Sorry! Ano...I'm just so grateful." Rhuda bowed. "To all of you. I--I know you're here because of Fu, and not really just for me...but I'm still so very happy."

Everyone looked at one another, then to Rhuda. "Oi! We're here for you, idiot!" Shallot said. He bonked her head.

Gohan grabbed her into his arms and snuggled, "Shallots right. We couldn't let you get killed. Even without the end of the world."

Zamasu looked off and put his hands behind his back in typical Kai fashion. He coughed, "As these idiots have already said. We were here to keep you from dying."

Rhuda teared up and sniffed a time or two. With a nibble of her lower lip she asked, "Then...you all.. really came just for me?"

They nodded. What came next was a memory none would forget. Rhuda smiled widely, spun around with giddiness, "I'm so happy--Here with you all! We can stay together forever!"

After that heart wrenching scene--leaving them all blushing and flustered--Zamasu healed Granola, and Rhuda said her goodbyes to Shallot the destroyer. "Be safe, Shallot," she told him seriously.

"Not my style noodles."

"Ano...about the future...is Trunks there?"

"Of course. He went from Mr. Perfect to Mr. King of Time. He's the one who sent me here." Shallot scowled. "...Still, wish little Kolard could have came too."

"K-Kolard?!"

"Yeah. He's never met you before. In his time, well, you died and he was raised by Gohan and Videl. Then I took him under my wing and drafted him into the Time Patrol."

"I see....how...sad...I wish I could be there for him." Rhuda gnawed her lip. Then had an idea. "Oh! W-Wait. Can you give him something for me?"

"Sure."

Rhuda darted off while they waited, and came back with the broken power pole. She thrust it to Shallot. "Please, give this to Kolard. He's the rightful heir of the power pole."

Shallot took the pieces and smiled. "...He's gonna flip out."

"Tell him that I love him. And that...I'll take great care of him." Rhuda said, bowing.

"Will do."

Gohan wrapped his around around Rhudas neck, smiling. "Great idea, giving him that."
