Chapter 57
"I still can’t believe I'm going back to New York or that mother allowed me to," I signed
Noah took a deep and happy breath. He, too, was finding it hard to believe "Yes,’ he managed out and kissed my hands "I love you." He whispered.
"And I love you too," I replied.
"Are you hungry?" he asked
"Yeah, thanks for asking."
"Sure love." He called one host on the plane. Jet and a mouthwatering snack were served.
I feasted on it without wasting much time, and he just laughed at me.
Now fully settled, I turned to him. "You never told me what really happened between you and your mother." I said out of nowhere.
Stunned, "you really have the knack of knocking people off their comfort,"
"Sorry, I just felt since we’ll be going over to meet with her, I need to know what I’m up against."
"You make it sound like we are about to war," he smirked
"Trust me, we are. Now spit it out." I demanded.
