Blake's head was pounding like a drum when he came to. "Where I'm I?" he asked himself as he lifted himself up slowly, rubbing his head and looking around groggily. He was on a small cot and the sun was shining brightly in the room. Old man Yang was sitting behind a desk, peering intently into an old book. He noticed that Blake was awake and closed the book. "What happened?" asked Blake as he swung his foot of the bed and took a sitting position. "I saved your sorry ass. A little thank you would suffice," said Old man Yang. "Thank you," said Blake. "Now that's more like it. Take the rest of the week off and recuperate. And, if you don't know, I'm stuck with you as my disciple. So from now on, you'll refer to me as master," said Old man Yang. "WTF?! is this some kind of joke? Why would you want me as your disciple?" blurted Blake. "Just because I want to," said Old man Yang. He got up and left the room, returning later to give Blake some food then he left again.
"Master, are you sure about this?" asked Old man Yang, looking at a crystal showing a young face. "Yes I am. He is the missing link and the chosen one to save us from this current dilemma. I made you take him in because I sensed It's presence in him. It only takes a master with the highest talent and potential in the universe and this boy is one. He might not be strong for now but allow him to develop at his own pace and keep watch over him. When the time is right, bring him here," said the person in the crystal. "Your wish is my command," said Old man Yang, bowing his head. "Master, won't the other side interfere?" asked Old man Yang. "Hmm... Nice question. You try your best, everything now depends on you," said the man. "Yes master, I will not fail you!" said Old man Yang, clenching his fist in determination. The communication ended and Old man Yang returned to the room where Blake was. Blake was lifting blue weights created out of his ability and training while lying on the bed. Old man Yang was surprised at Blake's determination. Even after facing the full brunt aura of a peak Legendary powerhouse, here he was, training as if nothing had happened! "Don't stress yourself too much, you still need to recover," said Old man Yang. "Yes master," replied Blake. As he was about to dissolve the blue dumbbell he heard a notification from the system. [You've not yet checked one reward. Does host wish to check?] "Yes!" [Reward recieved: Blue space unlocked, permanent creation unlocked,] came the voice of the system. "Blue space? permanent creation? what are those?" asked Blake. [Permanent creation allows you to save and keep your creation permanently in the blue space and it can be taken out at anytime. The blue space is like a storage artifact and the Permanent creation allows you to maintain what you have created. The higher you go, the more your space expands. It can even reach a point where your blue space will be as large as a world,] said the system. "Wow!" exclaimed Blake. Old man Yang stared at Blake in question. "I just had a revelation concerning my ability," explained Blake. "Good for you... Then let me leave you to it," said Old man Yang as he got out of the room.
"He made a move?" said the woman in surprise, staring at her screen. "After so many years of hiding he finally decided to come out? Well, this is an unexpected situation," muttered the woman. After a few minutes of thought, she spoke again. "Initiate Plan C," she commanded. A shadow in the dark corner of the room bowed and departed.
Blake was really happy. He had experimented with the permanent creation and blue space, finding it very useful and satisfactory. He had permanently created and stored exercise equipment so that he wouldn't waste energy each morning to recreate them again. Things were very quiet as the week quickly flashed by with Blake recovering from the after effects of the aura attack. He returned back to school in the next week as if nothing had happened and ignoring the stares of the teachers and classmates. On Saturday morning, he recieved a message from Old man Yang, telling him to be present at the Hunters Association in 15 minutes. Sighing, Blake dressed up and went but not forgetting to take his dagger along.
