Chapter - 22 - Blade ?

While Edge and the Knight were going through the forest towards Persia unknown to them some mischievous gaze were upon them

Hiding quite a far away from them to not be under the Knight's senses 8 Players were watching them while conversing in the Chat function of their friendlist to not make any kind of noise

( who is that weirdo I wonder )

those words were quite right in their own way because right now Edge was wearing an all black outfit with a Kendo like mask , he was looking like a person with a weird sense of fashion

( whatever , the strange thing is that we can't even see his info in ' inspect ' )

( yeah I also tried and I'm pretty sure we all have high level inspect skill because we use this skill the most to loot the only the rich ones )

( what do you say guys should we take a chance )

( well I know we should be cautious but we don't need to be afraid )

( yeah , I mean even in the worst circumstances he is strong so what , we are 8 Players )

( and that Knight is already injured by our previous ambush and the players would be confused wether to save himself or the Knight)

And that's how the decision was made and they decided to ambush them when the both of them will be crossing the bridge

When Edge and the Knight were only in the middle of crossing the bridge, 8 Players surrounded them from all side

" Hand over that item and leave the Knight" the leader which was standing in front of them tried to avoid conflict and used his words

" what's the need we should just kill both of them" a shrill voice came from behind

" even if I leave you will still kill me , but do you really think that you can afford my wrath ? " a demonic voice entered thier ears and when they looked they were surprised that it came from the masked guy

" you act like you are a bigshot you know " the leader said while unsheathing his sword

as soon as Edge heard this he immediately opened his mask

although Edge had more than 15 active skills at the moment he could not use more than half of them because of the high MP consumption but the one thing he could use was his 'Shaoeshift' skill that works using less MP

So when Edge removed his mask the face they all saw was different or you could say they knew that face very well it was none other than famous ranker ' Blade '

seeing that it was a ranker and a very powerful one at that the PK players hesitated

although it was a risky move but Edge was confident that it will work because the PK players didn't dressed very well indicating that they were not very skilled PK player so they would be nervous to fight a ranker

and also because Blade was known to have one of the biggest guild backing him so even if they kill him now they would surely be the won at lost.

and also the last reason was although Edge could Shapeshift into anyone he saw or imagined he didn't turned into anyone else because he noticed that when he imagined a famous face it was not very perfect it could work but he didn't wanted to take any chances so he selected a face from his Game memory and Shapeshifted into ' Blade '

" we apologise for our action , Mr Blade , I hope you could forgive us " the leader said after a brief pause after consulting with his friends in the chat

" if it was any other day maybe I wouldn't but I'm late in my quest so it will be better if I don't have to waste my time with you lot " after saying this he wore his mask again and walked away as the PK players shifted sidelines to make way for them.

" wow I didn't know you were such an influential figure Mr Blade "

" Same here ... haahaha " and Edge removed his mask to show him his true face although the Knight was surprised he quickly understood that he used some sort of skill back there

" sorry to introduce myself so late Myself Edge Mr Knight " Edge said with a bow

" and Myself Edrid , it's nice to meet you "

The rest of their journey was very peaceful because they didn't find any other problems on their way.

Sir Edrid entered along with Edge , he hesitated if he should go but when Edrid told him that he is the King's personal Knight and also very close to him , he went along with Sir Edrid.

" ahh thank God you are here dear Edrid I was worried for you ... what's this bandage how did you get injured " the King showed a face of worry because he knew that Sir Edrid is a very capable man

" who is that person ? " he asked his loyal Knight

" I was ambushed on the way my King and this person helped me or else I wouldn't be able to bring this magical root to you " Sir Edrid showed the Magical root in this hand and the Persian King also calmed down

" I greet your majesty the King of Persia " Edge tried to do his best of whatever he learned from the historical dramas while kneeling and giving a bow when suddenly he faltered

" The..... Emperor ? " the reason was because behind the King away from prying eyes was the Emperor who ruled the East Continent and the reason that Edge was given +100 Empire Points in the Quest Reward
