Chapter-18: Enquiry with transfer.

Vick had a call from headquarter.

He went there and shocked when he found that someone had made a footage of that night. In that footage, he was helping Hawk. When he saw that footage… he was very angry but he also thinking that who had done this?

He was rubbing his fingers and pressing his lips.

He was standing in front of high officials and Chief was also there. He was having small but greedy smile in his face. His eyes were shining and happiness was in his face.

High officials, "officer Vick… because of your work… we are not suspending you but we are giving you a one-week time. In this one week, if you not able to explain why you have done this… then… we have to suspend you from your job."

Madam Pronica was not there because Chief had already sent her out for a work. Chief already know that if she would be here then definitely she will help him and somehow, she will save him.

Vick was upset and sitting in his cabin.

That time he had a call from his house when he attends that call he was shocked.

"Within a week."

Meanwhile, some people entered inside in formal dress. Those people are from, IT department came inside his cabin and show their id proof to him.

"Officer Vick, we had an information about the money which you have. We had an information that you had bought a bus, a car and recently you had given an order of a bike."

Vick, "yes."

IT officers, "then… we will give you one-week time to show all details of money. Due to you work we are giving you a time, otherwise… we will take away everything from you. After that what will happen… you know that."

When he was going out, reporters covered him from all direction.

All reporters start asking their questions about helping Hawk, about IT department and suspension from the job. Vick was not giving damm answers of those questions. He was moving those reporters away from him by his hands. 

Somehow,

He reached to his car and went to his house.

From his house, he packs his bag and went to his home.

At night he reached at his home. 

All children were sitting in the hall with all three mothers. It was a quit environment.

"What happen?" Vick asked them with surprise.

Mother Mary quickly send all children to another section of hall and Vick took a seat with mothers.

All were looking at each other faces.

Vick, "do children know about this?"

Mother Martha, "no… they don't but very soon, they will."

There was a sadness on there voice and fear on their faces because now they have to change the house but there was a huge problem to solve and they have one-week time.

Grandmother, "Vick… get up and have a food."

But Vick does not want to eat food. He stands from his seat, take his bag and went to his room.

"Sorry grandmother… I am not hungry."

It was dark night.

Owl was making sound and everyone in orphanage in their bed. All were sleeping but Vick was not sleep yet. He was lying over his bed, both hands behind his head and looking towards ceiling. No body is helping him, Dude was out of town. Hawk and Lauren both were underground because if he cannot able to explain why he had done this… then Police will arrest them.

Suddenly,

Phone start ringing.

Ring.

Ring.

Ring.

When he saw home screen of his keypad phone. He was surprised. It was his friend Dude call.

"Hello Dude."

Dude, "open the door man… I am standing out of your home."

He quickly went down and open the door. Vick was wondering because he went out from the town but he was here. Both sit on the hall and Dude ask him everything.

He explained everything to him.

Dude, "Oh!!"

"Listen, I can arrange a new house in this area and money also. But about the footage you have to do something."

Vick was very happy to hear this from his mouth and he thanked him for help. Now, he had to find the man who was behind that footage.

Next morning.

Vick took his car which he had bought for home. He took that car to an unknown area. whole area was full of scoundrels and there were looking like hunger hyaenas. They were muscular and hairstyle was wearied but everyone had guns on their hands.    

He stops his car and step out.

Everyone was looking at him and muttering something with each other. In front of him there was steel fence door and behind that door some men were standing. That steel fence was covering a huge house.

Vick, "let me in."

They contact someone and let him in.

A man took him to their queen.

Lauren, "welcome Vick… have a seat."

She knows everything about what just happen so, she did not talk too much. She asked a question to him.

"What do you want from me?"

…

Vick, "you have to find that man for me. And I will give you this."

He placed a gold coin in front of her. She was surprised.

She took that coin and check it.

…

"OK… I need one day."

Vick, "you got it."

After this he came back to his house. Dude had found another house for them and they had packed their bags. They all sit inside bus and some were another car which was brought by Dude with him.

New house was looking like a big cottage but contain everything whatever they need. They all went inside and children were happy but Eleena was angry.

She went near to him.

"Because of you."

After this she went inside the new house.

Vick, "leave her and what about money?"

Dude, "need two days more and then everything will be settled."

Finally,

Vick took a long breath. "Now, I have to wait for tomorrow."

In the new house, all children were roaming around the house. After having dinner, Vick was waiting for tomorrow.

Sun rises and Vick had a message on his phone.

He read that message.

"Oh!! it's you."

All three mothers were surprised to a smile on his face. They were wondering and thinking… why he is so happy.

Mothers were sitting on the sofa which is in the hall. He came there and sit with them.

Mother Mary, "what happen to you?"

He had a huge smile on his face.

"Problem is solved."

At night he went to Will house and knock the door.

Knock.

Knock.

Will open the door and let him come inside.

He entered inside his house and take a seat. Will was surprised to see him there.

Vick, "tell me Will… why did you do this?"

He acts like he does not know anything but Vick took out his double barrel shotgun and place it over the table.

Will was in fear.

"Chief told me to do this and I don't know why. He said that if I do this he will promote me."

Vick had an idea after hearing this from his mouth. He had a smile on his face and ask him to do as he said to him.

Will make a call to Chief and said that Vick know everything about us and if they want to save themselves then, they had to send him another city with a promotion and clear him from all cases. Chief had no choice so, he did as he said.

Next day.

In news channel, there was only one news that it was just a physical drill which was undertaken by department. Officer Vick is a nice officer.

Department send him to another city and he still use to take help of Hawk and Lauren for catching those scoundrels.

Madam Pronica also came back from his work and she was surprised to hear that Vick had his second transfer and he was promoted as Superdent Officer, rank-II.

On those area where he got a transfer, there also he uses to take money from scoundrels if they want to run their work but they have to stay inside law.

After six months, he got another transfer.

And again,

After six months, he got his fourth transfer. Which is in Victoria Land, means he came back to the same place where he started his journey.

Meanwhile government had planned something. In news channel, they were showing the details of the government plan.

"Government had taken a decision. To construct a Major Police Station which is in the center of all four major cities. This Police Station can control all four major cities and also control two ore cities. This will help Police to handle problems which use to occur in public."

Tv closed by Stela who use to live in Mrs. Nora house on second floor.

Luna, "will it work?"

June, 'it will if Vick become head of this Police Station."

Swan was making after tea for them. After she serve them. She went to his sister, Sara was in Mrs. Nora house. There, she was cleaning her house.

After she cleaned, she went to Mrs. Smith floor.

They did not treat them as servant, they use to treat them as their child.

Mrs. Smith, "both of you… did you hear that Vick had transfer in our area and now, he will be in this area and Swan… might he met you somewhere."

Sara had a smile on her face and looking at her.

Swan, "maybe not."
