Chapter-2: Spring Festival.
May booked a taxi from the airport and went towards their house. She had already informed me that she was coming home with one guest.
He was looking out from the window with a smile. She was surprised to see his smile. Whole area was cleaned by the people and shopkeepers were also cleaning their shops. Small children in front of shops were writing something on red paper. … May told him that they are known as couplets and they will stick those papers on walls and doors. He started smiling and told her that he knew everything about the festival.
She was surprised to know that, so she asked him to tell everything about the festival. He told her that a long time ago there was a monster known as Nian, who used to come out in each lunar year and harm the world. After some measures people decide to make him stay from them they start placing red couplets on the walls and door. They also burst fire crackers to make him fear and due to this the monster ran away.

"WOW!!"
She quickly asked him who he knew about this. In simple words, he told her that Swan had told him…. Because she loves this festival.
Driver who was driving the car, even surprised by him.
After some time, they reached their village and a car stopped on a sandy road. He told them that they had to go from there. Both stepped out from the car and took their luggage's and started walking towards their house.
"Where is your house?"
She points her finger towards her house. He saw her house on the top covered with fields and all the fields green. He looked around him and took out his bike key ring and touched it with his lips.

"Let's go."
People were crossing them and looking at them and he also looked at them and gave them a smile.
People were taking their cattles at their home and some old people were playing cards while sitting on the roadside. After some time, they reached in front of their house and the whole family was waiting for them. They all welcomed them and she introduced him to her family. There was her mother, father and grandmother and some other relatives. Her house was big and both sides had houses.
Her house was like a C shape and they were standing on the open side. Whole floor was covered by flower pots and corns were hanging from the ceiling. It also contains one more floor for guests. It had a tapered terrace.
"Hello… you will stay inside the house or you want to stay there."
He meets everyone and follows her. She showed him his room which was on the first floor and she asked him to take a rest and after sometime everyone would meet down. He was roaming around the room and looking out from the window. Cold air was flowing and touching his face. He had a very big smile on his face and told himself that this is his best moment.
He got freshed and changed his clothes and went down. He saw that the whole family was writing something on the red paper and asking small children to place it on the wall and doors. One small boy came and told everyone that he had bought crackers for them. May ask him to sit with them. … But he doesn't know anything. Her mother called him and told that they knew everything about him.
He took a seat opposite of the children and those kids saw his muscles. They start talking to each other and asking their friends to see his muscles.
Vick was in the Wuyuan village, this news went out from the village and after sometime this news went to their Police department and the head wanted to meet him. So, he decided to go to that house to meet him.
Vick saw that the sun was setting down and her mother told him that the sun used to set down very fast in their area. Meanwhile, local officers reached there with their heads. He had a flower on his hand for him and he bowed his head and gave that flower to him. He asks him to sit and the head appreciates his work. He told him whatever he had done was impressive. While talking he told him about the Sultan but Vick told him that he already knew about him and he was there to attend the festival.
The head realized that he does not want to talk about his work. He leaves that topic and offers to come to the city and attend the drama of the festival. May quickly accepted the offer and told him that they would come.
After having a small conversation, the head took leave from there and they started having dinner. They had set up a table out in an open place but he does not know how to eat with chopsticks. … May smiled and bought a spoon from the kitchen.
"Vick do you know that these days, we use to worship."
Vick, "kitchen God… I know."
The next day, the festival was starting and they bought red colored envelopes.
While eating food, he asks how these officers know about the Sultan.
Her grandmother started coughing and told him that twenty years ago, he came to China and asked all scoundrels to join him but some of them refused him. … Due to which he got angry and killed all those who refused him. Same trick he used for the Police and officers who refused, he killed them. … May told him that her grandmother used to work in the Police and due to that she knew about him. She also told him that he had killed her husband also.
At night he was sleeping in his room but he had a bad dream in which he saw Khalifa with a sword. He quickly woke up and saw that the sun was shining outside. When he went down, everyone was wearing a new dress and laughing loudly. He looked at May and she was wearing a beautiful dress. He also saw that she was putting some money inside red envelopes.
Kids saw him and shouted by taking his name. Everyone looks at him and May gives him a cloth and asks him to wear it for the night.

"Thank you and what you will wear at night?"
She told him that she had something.
At night, Vick asks for some envelopes from grandmother and she gives it to him. He took out money and put it inside those envelopes.
Meanwhile, May came out from her room and she was wearing an ancient dress and he was wearing a red colored dress and black pant which was given to him by her.
Everyone went out to buy products. Whole city was glowing with lights and a number of lamps were hanging over the road which was covered with red colored paper. People were buying products and small children were eating dumplings while walking. There was a huge crowd on the road and people were looking at him. He asked May why people were looking at him. She smiled and told him why don't he look behind.
… When he looked behind there was a huge crowd of females who were following him and all of them were asking for a picture with him.
All of them start busy buying products but May was looking at him. He was covered with all females, after sometime, she fired up and asked him to come along with him because they are going home back. Her family members were looking at her behaviour and they found jealousy inside her.
At home, he asked the time when they have to give envelopes to all those children.
She told him that she was going to tell him. There was anger in her voice and he recognized that. He knew why she was doing this. On the dining table somehow, he explained to her and all of them started having food. She told him that he can give those envelopes any time but it should be night. He told her that there are kids, so he can give them. She smiled and they all started giving those envelopes to all the kids and giving them best wishes for the new year.
Other hand, the Sultan was going out to destroy another Police Station but his guards stopped him. He asked the reason and they told him that they are doing wrong, they have to break their strength. He does not understand. They told him that they have to attack Vick because everyone is using his name.
… He understood everything and asked them to find him but his guards had already found him and told him that he was in China and was going to attend one drama soon.
The Sultan had a dangerous smile and laughed loudly. He told everyone that he had captured half of China and now he will complete his half of the work. They had a box along with him and he asked them to take that box also because he had to drink more blood.
