"Sir, I investigated the matter. As it turns out, Garret Connor happens to be Miss Jones' blind date so they just had a brief discussion regarding where they stand," Noah said.

Archer nodded. He was reminded of the conversation he had with the woman back in the washroom. She was talking about being set up for some blind date so there were no loopholes in the whole matter, "I see. Still, keep an eye on her."

As Archer hung up, Elvina glanced at him questioningly, "Work stuff?"

"Just this new employee. She is decent for the position and everything else is fine about her but I don't know why I can't shake off the suspicions that something is wrong with her."

"Maybe because she is trying to seduce you," Elvina winked, inwardly narrowing her eyes at him. What a sly fox!

"No. But even if she tried, I'd put my attention on seducing you," Archer winked right back at her.
