"You have something better to describe what happened between us?" 

"C'était un rêve devenu réalité pour moi,'' he smiled, looking at her stunned face.

Claire frowned, ''Drop your assumptions. It was Maven,'' she coldly said before turning to look at the doctor.

"_" Elvina leaned back on the wall. Claire used to practice for days to keep up with her cold CEO image but just now, she did not seem to be acting at all. It came out naturally.

Was she being protective of Maven?

Archer's gaze deepened, ''What was that jerk doing with my sister?!"

Claire glanced at the doctor without answering Archer, ''Have you turned deaf?"

The doctor shivered, ''Compared to her, he has received minor injuries so we had to shift him from the emergency room. He is resting in the VIP ward...''

He left as soon as he finished speaking.

Claire, Elvina, and Archer were left inside the empty hallway in front of the emergency ward.

Elvina glanced at Archer before looking at Claire. She looked back and forth between them.

She wanted to comfort them both but she could not do it.
