BE MY FAMILY

"Of course, I will not let you get hurt, but yes, I will be hurt too." Micah felt a little bit regretful right now, because he was no longer able to hear her thoughts.

"You will stop anyone who tries to hurt me?" Hazel asked him again, as she read that line in the ancient book in the library.

"I will burn them alive if they dared to hurt you."

And that was what he had done before. He could care less about anything, or everything, he wanted them to suffer, filled with so much pain when his mate and his daughter died in his arms.

He couldn't let that happen again. Not anymore.

On the other hand, Hazel grimaced a little bit, but Micah shoved a piece of meat into her mouth. It tasted so juicy and made her forget about what she wanted to say for a moment.

But then, immediately after she swallowed the bite, Hazel remembered it. "Why do I feel like you will actually do it when you say you will hurt someone?"
