It hurt like hell when Alpha Micah realized that he had to let go of the love of his life, because he was waiting for the impossible to happen. 

Hazel has died and even though his mind told him to let go, his heart told him to hold on. 

How is he supposed to forget all the memories that they created together? How is he supposed to forget all of that? How is he supposed to forget about her…?

Charos finally relented because he knew he was in a disadvantageous position. The king was crazy and there was no word or anything that could stop a madman from getting what he wanted.

The royal gamma was right about this.

But keeping this situation aside, it seemed Charos could see pretty clearly who this human girl was for the king. It was not uncommon for the shifters to have mates from a different race, and even though no one said it out loud, the importance of this human girl was already obvious enough.

Charos walked beside Micah, while the rest of the centaurs followed behind them, but it was only Archer, Jaxon and Gillian, who were allowed to enter their territory. That was Charos' only request, so they could solve this peacefully.

Of course, Micah agreed, he would enter this territory with or without his people anyway, thus this request was not a problem for him.
