Jason was the crown prince of the vampires, and that was the only information that Hazel could get from Micah when she asked about their encounter last night with the vampire prince, because after that Micah's mood plummeted so fast.

He snapped at anyone, even Archer and Jaxon were not an exception and only told Hazel that he needed some time to cool off, because he didn't want her to see this side of him.

Though he said that as gently as he could, she still felt the sternness in his voice. He was trying so hard to keep his composure. He didn't even touch her.

In the end, Hazel had to return to the party because Jade insisted she needed to be there, since she was the main character of that night.

Fortunately, this time Archer was with her. He did most of the talking, and she could think of something else, while chiming in here and there, in case they thought she didn't follow the conversation, because it was rude to make it so obvious.
