As time went by, Hazel grew restless and she felt even more agitated when there seemed to be no sign whatsoever of Micah coming and rescuing her from this place.

Xavier indeed did not treat her badly. However, Hazel was well aware how much he despised the baby in her stomach and once she gave birth, she would know how she could 'help' him.

For now, all Hazel knew was Xavier needed her to help him with something, but she didn't have any idea how she could be of any help to a superior supernatural creature like him.

Micah kept her in the dark and sometimes, Hazel couldn't help blaming him for that.

Tonight, Hazel was not able to sleep. No matter how hard she tried, sleepiness wouldn't come to her, thus she decided to get off the bed and walked out of her bedroom.
