IT WILL BE FINE THIS TIME

Maybe because she was too exhausted and the fear that gripped her heart had finally taken a toll on her for staying up all night, Hazel finally dozed off right after sunrise.

She only woke up at noon because she could feel someone staring at her sharply. Even though she was not yet fully awake, she already knew who that was and it didn't even take her a second to recall what had happened last night.

It would be nice if she could forget it for a while.

Hazel opened her eyes and found Xavier sitting on a single armchair, his golden eyes shooting daggers at her, but his expression was devoid of any emotions.

How long had he been sitting there?

Hazel perked up her ears, but she could no longer hear Elsa's cries and screams. It must be because Xavier had managed to calm her down.
