DEMANDED HIS RESPONSIBILITY

At this point, there was no way Micah would let her continue to stay in the Webster family house anymore. He wouldn't let the same thing happen to her, not to mention that he had been trying to find a reason to get her out of that house.

 

Micah's eyes darkened when he noticed a scratch on her wrist. She must have got it when she jumped from the second floor, but compared to what Hazel had imagined would happen to her, this was nothing.

 

"It's okay, it's just a scratch, I fell." Hazel wanted to pull her hand, but Micah held her tight. The look on his face was so grim, this made Hazel clear her throat to remind him. "It is just a scratch, it will not even leave any scar… what are you doing?" Hazel was shocked when Micah brought her hand to his mouth before licking the wound on her wrist.
