It hurt like hell when Alpha Micah realized that he had to let go of the love of his life, because he was waiting for the impossible to happen. 

Hazel has died and even though his mind told him to let go, his heart told him to hold on.

In the end, Hazel followed the entourage of the king to the west area, from where the report came to them. Even so, no one asked about her identity, as Hazel would always be with the king.

If she was not with Micah, she would be with Noah or Gallahan. In that way, it was clear for them to treat her with respect, since it was evident the king cherished her. It could be said that she was the future queen, even though it was not officially announced yet.

The journey itself would take four to five days and they would often need to camp in the open.

Aside from Dalia and a few other warriors that Hazel knew, it was Jaxon that came with them, instead of Archer, which was so unfortunate for Hazel, since she would love to have Archer in this entourage.
