Don't Come Back

It's been four days since Layla came to Jason's. And the snowstorm has calmed.

They both slept in separate rooms and Jason has been a gentleman, respecting her wish to be just friends with him.

Jason got his mechanic to go check Layla's car.

She couldn't remember the exact place where the car had died, so it took them a while to locate it.

It was later they realised that she had taken a different route from the one that led to Jason's place and that was where the car had died.

"I couldn't see the road clearly that day," Layla said when they finally found her car.

Jason placed his left hand around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him. He kissed her forehead.

" It's a wonder how you were able to find my place in that snow."

"I got missing it a few times and I kept trying to trace my way back. Because of the snow all the houses sort of looked familiar."

Jason lovingly rubbed her arm. "I'm glad you are all right."
