Not The Right Time

The GPS led Stan to another town, and when he got to the front of a dilapidated building, the GPS announced that he had arrived at his destination.

Stan pulled out his gun and made sure it was fully loaded before he stepped out of his car.

At first, he doubted if that was the actual address because the building was looking so dilapidated with overgrown grass covering the porch. But he decided to check it out just to be sure.

There were few other houses around, and they all looked old as well. Stan heard a crashing sound followed by a raised feminine voice coming from the next house that was in almost the same shape as the one he was standing in front of.

The wooden porch creaked as he stepped on it. Stan looked around before he tried opening the front door. It was locked.

He reached for his wallet, took out his credit card, and used it to pick the lock.
