The phoenix queen

Normally, a phoenix would have a chance to bear a child once every 1000 years. And carry it for 10 years which her child will take all her powers in the first year, and then it becomes less and less by the years.

Anna was careless and didn't know in the beginning that she was carrying a child. Until she suddenly lost her power while she was separated from her spouse. She wasn't feeling well that day so she went for a walk. Then she wandered into an area where power interactions were massive enough to create a barrier.

And worse came to worst, as the last bit of power that her child did not take, seeped into the barrier and seemed to make the barrier more aggressive...

Without the power to turn to a human form, nor even the ability to communicate, her form shrank... her appearance now was no more than fiery chicken...

she wandered Inside this strange village and couldn't escape because of the tremendous power waves interaction.

Then one day, in the village of the humans who treated her cruelly, One of the power sources that made the barrier crazier, came to her in the form of a child.

She was frightened when she saw him getting close, she was afraid he would hurt her but was ready to fight with all of her remaining strength to protect herself and her child.

She thought he was some being designed in the form of a child to kill her. The idea of a child having such a massive power didn't even cross her mind.

But suddenly, when she was about to try burning him like everyone else who got close to her. The being in the form of a child performed a friendship dance...

She looked at him in wonder, and he responded that he requested her fire.

She didn't understand at first... if he stays by the fire, the fire would enchant the barrier with more force. And not only imprison her more but also imprison even a strong being like him...

But, she chose to trust him and trust a custom she always believed to be stupid.

If he had an evil intention, he could have simply taken her fire with force, he had the powers to kill her so why would he even bother?

And after days of him requesting and receiving.

She realized that he never stayed beside the fire. She could feel the fire placed in places that makes the barrier weaker, although slowly, although it may take a year or two. But, they would be able to get out of this hellish place for sure.!

She began to observe the only person who was helping her. not only was he trying to get them out of here, he was the one who secretly brought her food even though he himself clearly didn't have enough to survive.

That person was a little strange, although he could not control his powers inside the barrier, his energy was all over the place like a real child.

But, he could wipe such a rural village off the map with the left of his finger if he wanted.

So why...?

Why was he tolerating a treatment harsher than hers by a hundred times?

Why would he try to warn those evil people about how her fire is dangerous??

Why warn them of danger, when all he gets in return is a harsher treatment???

She thought: let these horrible people be! Let them all burn to ashes!!

she wanted to talk only to tell him that they deserve to fall to hell...
