UNREQUITED LOVE

The next day Xander is the first to wake up, due to Clae's presence he was so excited and cheerful. He got freshen and entered the kitchen to prepare them breakfast, after making coffee he knocked their room and waited for their response. Later a while Clae opened the door and she was in a night dress which Xander offered them last night. He stood rooted by her appearance in pink pajama, lite redness in nose and cheeks effect from early wake up. He came back to his sense by Clae's voice and started to speak awkwardly.

Xander: Hmm, sorry I didn't mean to disturb you it's already seven so you two need to return back that's why I knocked the door.

(by his words Clae laugh and started to speak)

Clae: Your looking so innocent while serious, okay let me remind you one thing since today is weekend there is no classes for us , so you don't need to worry anyhow we need to return back earlier since tomorrow is Lisa's birthday we are planning a suprise party , actually that's why we went to shopping yesterday.

(by completing her words she stepped out of the room and closed the door behind her)

Xander: Oh great, can I anticipate you will invite me too?.

Clae: Why not, you are the only friend for us in the whole four years in this city, so you are always invited.

Xander: Okay where have you planned the party and who are all invited and what time it is??

(she was speechless by his continuous encounter and started to laugh. By her innocent smile he was mesmerized and admiring her inch by inch)

Clae: Relax relax, Why are you rushing this much, I have planned the party at Clinton view and its around evening five also I have invited all of our classmates since this is the last year we are celebrating her birthday here .

Xander: Okay okay, then I'll pick you by four is that fine.

Clae: No no, you straight away come to the hotel, since it's a suprise party I need to fetch Lisa with load of lies, if you are with me that would be more complicated, so..

Xander: Okay okay, I can understand no problem, oh I just forgot have your coffee and take to your friend too. Meanwhile I'll prepare your breakfast, okay?

Clae: No no need, we need to leave soon, so you don't bother.

Xander: It's not a big deal, so you people go freshen up and there I kept you new dresses so get ready and be in dinning as soon as you can.

(without arguing much Clae agreed with him and both of them returned to the dinning in next half an hour. With her new dress selected by Xander he started to adore her more precisely, it's a blue jean with white top and it's from his designer especially for Clae.Then the breakfast went smoothly later they both bide their goodbye and headed to their rooms. Meantime Xander wanted to express his love towards her so he decided to propose her on Lisa's birthday party itself. Even he feel it's so flimsy, he wanted to express his feelings towards her before he leaves this city. Then he called his assistant Mark and ordered him to make all the arrangements for a grand proposal with white and red roses, before hanging up he remained him to be very careful with the things he ordered and he engaged with his buisness work.

The next day accidentally Clae bumped with Xander in a flower shop and they both were shocked in surprise.

Cale: Hi Xander, what a suprise?

Xander: Hey Clae, what are doing here, are you alone?

Clae: Actually I'm here alone, as I said I'm here to brought some red roses which is Lisa's favourite. By the way what are you doing here, are you here to buy flowers to your girlfriend or??

Xander: Don't get any idea Clae, I'm here to fetch some flowers to my buisness partner as a greeting that's it .

Clae: Okay, just kidding don't take it seriously.

Xander: Not at all, anyhow we both are here why don't we do the shopping together. As I'm already done with my meetings.

Clae: Sure, come on.

(when they were about to exit, the shop keeper came over and handed over them a bouquet of 99 roses and greeted them cheerfully)

Man: Congrats sir today is our shop's aniversary and we planned to offer 99 roses for the first couple who's is buying roses in our shop, so kindly accept it. Sir give this to your partner.

( by the shopkeepers words they both were shocked with the words couples and Clae started to explain but Xander signalled her not to, hence she kept shut and they exited the shop by accepting the flower. Once they came out Clae started to encounter him continuous questions with anger)

Clae: What have you did, the shopkeeper mistaken us and gave these flowers, but why you have accepted it, why??

Xander: Relax relax, I didn't do it intentionally since the bouquet is beautiful I planned to gave this as a present to Lisa, that's why I didn't refused it, since I can buy it on my own, I loved this so I accept it. If you didn't like what I did, hand over me the bouquet I'll return back.

(he spit out everything with little anger to make shut her mouth. Once he completes Clae was taken aback and stared him embarrassingly.)

Clae: Umm....Uhhh. I'm sorry Xander I didn't mean it , sorry.

Xander: No worries come let's head back to shopping.

Clae: So we are partners , uhh?

Xander: If you don't like it come let's give it back.

Clae: No no I'm just kidding, anyway as a partner in this party we can do everything together, will you?

(she gave her hands to him by completing and Xander laughed inwardly and masked a cold face)

Xander: Okay, partner.

(Clae laughed slightly and they headed back to his car, while moving forward Clae's mobile started to ring since her hands were full of flowers, she turned towards Xander for help. Without thinking much he took her mobile from her handbag and gave it to her which is no avail. So she requested him to put on the speaker. Once the line connected Lisa's worried voice came over.)

Lisa: Dissy, where are you, why it's taking so long.

(Xander repeated her pet name inwardly and laughed to himself)

Clae: Liss, calm down I'm just here to purchase some groceries to prepare a cake for you, in the way I bumped with Xander that's why it's taking a while. Don't worry I'll be there as soon as possible, all right?

Lisa: Oh having fun with Xander, huhh?

Clae: Liss, mind your tounge we are just friends and by the way the call is on speaker, so stop your number nuisance.

Lisa: Okay okay, please come fast as I don't want to enjoy my birthday alone.

(once she hangs up, Clae and Xander started their journey. )

Xander: So your pet name is Dissy, isn't it?

(by his question Clae's face turned into crimson red and laughed embarrassingly.)

Clae: It's uhh... she used to call me like that since my childhood, nothing particular.

Xander: Actually I too like that, Dissy.

(they shopped more dresses, chocolates, flowers which and all Lisa likes. Later Xander dropped her at their room and Clae requested him to drop the things purchased in th hotel where they reserved and she gave him that room key.)

Clae: Hope you don't mind!

Xander: Not at all, Dissy it's our friend birthday and I'll play my part, don't worry.

Clae: Thank you, partner.

Xander: Huhh, okay bye Dissy see you soon.

( by her reaction at the flower shope Xander withdraw his plan of proposal and told himself to find another way to expres his feelings. So need to wait for it)
