She was just as influential as Rachel or even more since she was a trained knight and worked for Kalsa- the royal knights of Kuravos, for two years.
"He had no option but to check the depth of the water before jumping in huh?" Regina smirked as she was still standing near the balcony and listening to the sound of the rain.
"Well no worries. I agreed since I am in need of money as well. So let's see for how long I can play." She shrugged her shoulders.
The night was indeed long. She knew where she had chosen to get landed and now she was an integral peice of this entire puzzle.
Although she wasn't her own self here and was playing the character of Rachel D'azure, she knew if anyone would want to attack they would come for her throat.
She had plans and she had needs. Desperate needs. So now her new life had begun.

After sometime.
"Your majesty, I've prepared your bath. Shall I lead you there?" Lara came and politely asked Regina.
Looking at Regina's soiled wedding gown Lara almost had a pitiful expression on her face. But afterall she couldn't actually tell the queen she was pitying her.
What actually made Lara curious was the way the wedding was wrapped uo quickly. Everyone was told that the wedding will be held in on of the grandest chapels of the kingdom on the Santia Hills.
But there was also a rumour that the king was perhaps forced too much that he just wanted to escape the marriage. Not much was clear since rumours are rumours after all, but if the king and the queen are this far from each other, than anyone could actually fill the space between them and then break them apart completely.
"There is no doubt that she is indeed very beautiful." Lara thought to herself as she was quietly guiding the queen to the grand bath.
The Grand Bath, was just as it's name suggested. A big room with a shiny bath tub and toiletries that looked like they have been made from gold, or atleast worth a peice of gold.
"Huh? It's so unnecessarily lavish. I will never get used to the way nobles live. Fools." Regina thought to herself as she mocked nobles.
Lara helped Regina with the dress and also gathered a few maids to help Regina with her bath. Her platinum blonde locks and blue eyes made her look exactly like the typical heir of the D'Azure family.
There was pin drop silence. No voice and only the sound of running water filled the entire room. When Regina said, "So did Isabella ever vist this palace?"
The maids flinched at the sudden question. But Lara shook her head and said, "No your majesty. Her highness never came here. This palace was only opened recently."
Regina calmly listened to what Lara had to say and then proceeded with her next question - "So do you think that the king will come here tonight?"
Everyone became overly cautious in that very moment and suddenly Lara stood up and looked, "I am sorry your majesty. We never intended to pry in your majesty's life."
Even Regina herself was caught off guard with this sudden innocent response. "Oh no no no. Don't worry. I didn't ask this question to test you." Regina said as she tried hard not to burst out in laughter.
The atmosphere lightened up a bit and eventually the maids also started chattering away. Talking about trivial matters like the wedding gown, the head maid and how they came from diffrent places from all over the kingdom.
Regina was enjoying their small talk and thought it would be of great help if the maids saw her as a good person.
When Lara suddenly said, "But we never saw the head maid working in the palace before ending up here." Lara didn't quite notice it but this was enough for Regina. All of her attention was now focused on Lara. She didn't interupt her and let her continue with her talk.
The other maid joined in and said, "Wasn't she the nanny for the first prince Desmond?"
"Hmm? Who is Desmond?" Regina asked.
And that's when Regina started to feel nauseous.
"You majesty? Are you feeling well?" The maids immediately managed to take Regina out of the bath tub and headed towards the bed in the bedroom.
They placed Regina down and Lara checked her. "She might be exhausted from traveling. And the rain also seems to be very heavy. " Lara explained to the other maids.
Regina didn't exactly lose her consciousness and could still see what was happening around her.
"Should I get up?" Regina thought. But her body was feeling weak. "Maybe I'll lay down for a while." Regina thought and then closed her eyes.
Her thoughts didn't exactly stop and she was still thinking.
Who is Desmond?
Why was the head maid here if she was the nanny for a prince?
Why did the king drop me off here and didn't take me to the Central Palace?
Why was I denied the entry from the the ninth gate?
Why did I marry someone I don't even know?
Who am I? Rachel? Or Regina?

The night was dark and the maids had arranged the bedroom chamber so that queen would have a very comfortable sleep.
Perhaps they also prepared for the king, thinking that Duncan may come that night. The guards stood outside the queen bedroom chambers and the maids waited until late in the night to welcome the king if he showed up.
They were mostly sure that Duncan would come but noone showed up after all.
Instead a letter came very little at night. "Ask the queen to be ready, I will be coming." The letter read.
Lara thought that the letter was sent by the king and thus made all the preparations accordingly. Of course she didn't wake the queen up thinking that she would do so when the king arrives.
But it was soon dawn. The sun rays made their way through the windows and entered the Grand Eastern Palace. It was beautiful. The marble floor, the pillars and everything looked like they were the parts of the heaven which fell down when heaven broke.
Lara wasn't able to sleep well the entire night. "He didn't show up after all. He is a liar." She said as she tossed herself on the bed in the maids dormitory and went to sleep early in the morning.
