91: The Grand Retrieval - part 3

'{Something is different here. Things are different this time.}'

The owner of those creepy hands was not leaving and Aurora's fists clenched in fear. She needed to do something to make those monsters leave.

For some reason, the monsters were getting more and more agitated the more they observed Aurora's cabin.

'{IT'S HERE. IT'S HERE. IT'S FINALLY HERE. OUR TREAT IS HERE AFTER A LONG TIME}'

'{MASTER! MASTER! HURRY UP. WE'RE HUNGRY}'

'{CAN WE EAT THIS TASTY TREAT? CAN WE?}'

Aurora did her best not to tense up as the voices got louder and louder. At this point, the only thing remaining between her and the owner of that bony hand was a thin curtain.

Aurora knew she could run away as a last resort. But she also had to take care of Rita and Alexander. Those two were still unconscious.

But the shadows seemed not to be leaving the cabin. They were reaching inside for someone and Aurora felt her throat get blocked by her fear.

'{WE'LL EAT IT UP}'
