Jian He's speech

President Lin Gen visited me two days after the dread trial. He came faster than expected. It was as if the exam impeded him from acting. Anyway, I had been expecting him to come to me.

"Guang Fang, I brought the things asked of me." He appeared impatience; it was as if he didn't want to see me for the next seconds. Have I become his morbid nightmare? I wondered. Well, it's not like I could throw too much thought on his loony attitudes. In fact, I had no time for that. I invited him in and shut the door; I sat with suave and passed an asking gaze on him.

Lin Gen brought out a red hand band and tossed it to me. "This thing is a storage device. It is hard to get. But my uncle never wanted deplorable people with rotten attitudes to put their thoughts on me. So he furtively stored everything away. The plant there are almost uncountable. Also, every other item needed is in the space band." He explained with veiled anger. Honestly, I saw it like a deflated fury; he could do nothing to me. He couldn't badger me even if he intended.

I passed a fascinating gaze on the item; it was as beautiful as a colorful Peacock. The lines and intricate design placed it in a dimension of its own. Apart from the storage function, the item could effortlessly stun people, making the wearer stand out. And not to mention the eye-catching color.

"How to open it!" I asked straightforwardly.

"You must rub it to transmit heat; it would change multiple colors. That's when the storage function actuate."

"I see!" I couldn't waste time with him; I decided to try it myself. And just as I rubbed the red band for a few seconds, it started to flicker with different light colors. The next moment, I saw a hologram of the space and the item within. I tried sinking in my tiny developing aura, and to my surprise, the device sucked in my conscience. Inside, I clearly saw the distinct features of the items. The space was vast, just like an entire room. In fact, it was two of the size of my dorm room. Also, there was no air inside the place, meaning that medicine leaves, roots, and other spoilable materials for alchemy wouldn't spoil so effortlessly. I nodded in satisfaction.

When I returned, I cleared my throat to get the attention of Lin Gen; he looked lost and consternated. First, he thought that something seemed wrong. How did I suddenly look transfixed? To him, I looked like someone who wandered off somewhere. But since he couldn't explain or force the word out of me, he dismissed it.

"You did a good job. Do you perhaps need a reward?" I asked with a feverish gaze.

Lin Gen looked at me with contemplation; he believed nothing in this jungle of deceit—how would he easily trust me? He finally decided to voice his displeasure. "If you could destroy the evidence you hold against me, that would be great. You should understand that these items cost my uncle a lot, not only money but time and human effort."

"Hmm, it seems you don't like that I bestrode you. Although I feel no compunction about it. But since I've decided to hear you, I should at the very least do something for you. However, I think you're making a huge mistake. Being servile to me isn't terrible at all; you will understand in the future."

The president said nothing. However, I wondered if he was dissatisfied with me or Yue Si. But when was it my turn to start worrying about people? Yue Si loved the president, but the president was more interested in farfetched love. Of course, I couldn't blame him because many would reach out to heaven only to dominate Li Min. To them, dominating Li Min portended something good, but it was different for me. Ironically, Yao Yun wanted a little training time with Li Min, which made him betray Lin Gen. But Of course, he didn't know that what he did to the haughty Lin Gen led to his devolution from his peak life to my servant. However, I didn't care about any of that.

"I'm always in control; what makes you think I would give up on that? However, there are a variety of things I could do for you, but you're blind. Of course, I won't blame you for not seeing Mount Tai. Regardless, I've already promised not to threaten you with those pieces of evidence for now. But that's, of course, if you didn't push your luck. I will leave you some time for your future exams and other duties."

"Thank you!" Lin Gen said with a simple smile. Of course, I knew he just veiled his resentment. But it didn't matter because even now, he couldn't move me even if he wanted.

Since there was nothing much to discuss with Lin Gen because of his taciturn, we concluded everything. Being a spurious President made him even more useless than a mouse. I had to send him away to begin other preparations.

After the president left in the morning, Toa Fen came in the evening. Of course, devolution also made her reserved and unhappy. However, she appeared stunning today with her long ponytail; it made her dazzled like the sun.

"Guang Fang, I've brought the things you requested." In this instance, she brought out a unique purse. It was reddish-brown with complex designs. The pouch looked delicate, but it was stark different from its look. It was surprisingly thick and had an enormous space—comparably to a large sitting room.

"You don't look so good. Was it because of the items you purchased?" I smiled coldly. But she snorted and shot me a baleful gaze; subduing these guys was not easy. None of them was an obeisant servant. Well, there was nothing to do about them for now.

"Let's cut out the pretentious formality. Because in this jungle of deceit, I would be damn to believe you too easily. I find comfort in my morbid dread of you; it's more assuring to be vigilant because you're a stark different from your mien." She observed me a few seconds before she continued: "in this purse is a large space, but I'm not here to talk about that. However, I must mention that although these space devices are uncommon, they are not completely gone. Now and then, people bring them to Thunder nation. But they are scarce anyway, and not everyone can afford them. Maybe in a year, only ten of them would enter the whole thunder nation. You could imagine the size of the country. So only the absolute rich could afford to have a few in their collection. Most importantly, business people have more of them for convenience of transport."

I passed my focused gaze to her; I didn't have time for her screed, but I had to listen, nonetheless. So I sat peacefully on my bed while she sat on the chair facing my reading desk, which had my desktop and laptop. The desk was large and long. Similarly, I had assigned more chairs to my room, but I rarely use many chairs. My television showed nothing but animal kingdom—I had to play something, after all. My room didn't change much except that I had added chairs for convenience. But those chairs were foldable and could be hidden out of sight.

At this instance, Toa Fen dipped her well-manicured fingers in the purse; she intended to open it. In fact, this kind of purse could be loosened and tightened on the mouth. But inside the pursed was inky blackness. However, just as she dipped her finger inside the pouch (after she had loosed it). The contents showed in the form of a hologram. She brought a red box. But as she opened it, I saw a simple building: a reduced version with the size of a few centimeters; it was just enough for someone to encase it inside a box. But as Toa Fen brought it out, I saw a cable attached to it.

"This potable house was the one you requested. I had already fixed the alchemy and weapon development fire system inside. Also, there is a water system inside just like you wanted. Only this model cost my dad a fortune. Do you want us broke that much?"

"Who wants you broke? You're doing something for humanity." I rebuffed shamelessly.

'What humanity?' Toa Fen couldn't understand my nebulous ludicrous speech, but it irritated her.

'Well, I couldn't be bothered much. I would become the archetype of pills, formation, and weapons creation. Well, that's not right—people had already created these things. Anyway, I needed to do something because who knows if I would battle in the future? Who knows what I am? Who knows who my enemies are?' I felt like I shouldn't dillydally my time here; I felt there is more. So I couldn't b bothered by her. So after that, she brought some assortments of formation flags, compass discs, and some rich materials, among the things I asked her to purchase. She left after we settled everything. And of course, she left the purse with me.

Since then, I began my rich swot, but it was an inconceivable struggle, and the process made me dog-tired.

.....

So coming back to my first-year class graduation, the event was at its feverish peak. In the congregation, principal Liu Huan finished his announcement. He read every performance of the students: from third-year to first-year students except for class B first-years. In fact, in the entire first and second semester of the first-year class, we only had a sole unique exam, which came in pairs. So because we won the peculiar test, the school accorded our homeroom teacher some privileges to personally handle the announcement of his class performance.

So Jian He gloomily walked into the podium and bowed. Anyone could notice his broad dull eyes and his shallow expression from afar. And even his white suit couldn't hide the looming murky atmosphere.

"All my students did exceptionally well in the unique test and the final semester examination. Well, except for a student named Guang Fang. He destroyed some school properties and merely escaped failure in the final exams. If the school can open a farm—I believe it will be a desirable area to put him. However, since the school isn't ready for that, he will do community service this winter break." Jian He's voice was bleak and lifeless; he quickly left the students in murmur and confusion
