Hang out

Seeing Dayu quiet, Lan Mei teased her a little: "Dayu, do you miss your love already?"

Boazhai Dayu, who appeared lost, panicked at the hearing of love. She almost confused herself to the extreme, and there was nothing to latch on to for defense.

"We're not like you think," Boazhai Dayu stammered. "I am alright if he plays with me. Where am I eligible to compete with others?" She said under her breath! She was really timid as a mouse.

Lan Mei gazed at Boazhai Dayu for a while before turning to Toa Fen. Previously, she thought that Boazhai Dayu wasn't observant, but she understood now that she was stark wrong. Dayu was too attentive—it could be because of her personality. 'So she already knew of the people that sort after Guang Fang. And the most remarkable of all was that she knew her chances of winning were probably low. However, that's just her lack of self-esteem.'

"Dayu, you shouldn't step back on what you care about in this life. After all, they're your reason for happiness."

At this moment, anyone could see dark veins on Toa Fen's face. It was as if she had marked Guang Fang as her property. And Lan Mei had slyly verified her doubt. In fact, it wasn't much of doubt as she already knew. But what amazed her was different: if Toa Fen could have this reaction, didn't it mean that this person had already died multiple times and resurrected when Guang Fang stayed with other girls. Even Boazhai Dayu noticed the cold vibe coming from Toa Fen; she immediately shrunk her neck like a scared snail.

"It's fine! I never said he was mine. I was never qualified to own him." According to her style, Boazhai Dayu mustered up heavenly courage to produce this statement. And it was never a matter whether she was with her friends or not because the girls around her appeared no different from either friends or enemies. Honestly, she sincerely couldn't be herself before anyone. And perhaps I only became the exemption.

Lan Mei noticed the heavy ambiance and decided to lighten it up.

"Sister Fen, what should we do today?" She asked with a cute smile.

Toa Fen wondered why Lan Mei was so happy these days. Did she win a lottery ticket? What could make her so carefree? She understood that even though the girl before her didn't frown, she was never the one to smile casually.

"Let's hang out in my room! Dayu, are you coming?" Toa Fen asked enthusiastically. No one could believe she frowned like a monkey a moment ago. However, Dayu didn't feel like hanging out, anyway. She had always preferred her room and her bed. If it wasn't anything serious, she would stay alone. And for this girl's hang out, she had considered it non-special.

"No, I will just relax in my room."

Toa Fen thought to say another word, but Lan Mei signaled with her eye; she immediately swallowed her sprouting words. Toa Fen loved to be in control. She wanted glorification and deference. Conclusively, she would never allow anyone to topple her. But her influence wasn't 100% as it was previously, and that's because of my appearance. She believed she did not only lose her power because of her uncontrollable bearing on matters regarding me, but I had also schemed my way through her life. That's her annoyance yet her weakness toward me.

"Alright, Lan Mei, let's hang out alone."

"Okay!"

...….

Li Min lolled in her room, her mood not entirely cherry. She focused her angry eyes on the beautified colorful ceiling with a commanding white aesthetic.

"Sighs! What's wrong with me today?" Li Min questioned herself. She couldn't believe she wasn't herself in the class today. 'So when was I bewitched to this point?' She remembered she called the principal's office for my sake. But the worst part of all was that she moved involuntarily. She also spoke involuntarily. When Xiu Ying first talked to her about me, she had concluded it wasn't worth her devotion. Yet, how she resolved it was something she could never believe because she risked her pride, which was inexplicable.

"You demon, what have you done to me. I see! I'm going to invite my friend to start this school. I should hasten my plan because you should belong to me." Li Min continuously changed her expression like the colors of a rainbow hung above the cloud of smoke.

At this moment, she rose from her bed and reached out to her door handle, but she sighed and went back to her bed. "I can't be hasty and cause irreversible damage." Li Min consoled herself. She didn't even notice her casual wear was skimpy droopy, and feeble. Yet she was rushing out to meet me; she felt loony about her current state of mind.

Li Min stood from the bed again and went to the dressing mirror. She examined herself for no particular reason. In the mirror, she made many expressions and checked her height and skin tone. However, the face of Guang Fang also appeared in the same mirror. "What ghost is this? Why is he ubiquitous?" In fact, the problem had to be that she was losing her mind to the cloudy ambiance.

'Why was I ready to do anything for him?'

"Control, Xou Limin! He is just a sordid fellow." She cautioned herself once more. Li Min immediately began to practice breathing to overcome her overall malfunctioning state. Perhaps, it had to be because he stole my first adult life: kiss and hug. He had possessed me. She shook her head, took her phone, and hesitated for an unclear time before she pinged a message for me. However, she waited for a few minutes, but nothing came to her phone; it was awfully pitiful.

...…

However, I've been assimilating the content of earth pill creation in my room. I was aloof to whatever was happening in the outside world. In my room, I remained seated, my butt glued to my bed—to my bitter resentment. Damn you, assimilation. I couldn't believe how difficult it was to assimilate some data. I've been staying the same way since yesterday. But who am I to complain anyway. I needed to achieve something, so investing my time wasn't that bad. However, I couldn't believe this content was way bigger than one terabyte of memory space. And even that gods-mind that proclaimed he would sleep for eternity had come out to occasionally teased me with various barbs. He had the gut to say my brain was worst than a snail. Who could possibly assimilate these things in an hour? Braggart! There were always several ways to deal with that ingrate.

...

It was already midday—the sun smiled continuously while punishing people with unbearable heat. Of course, the air conditioning loomed the whole Suzhou senior high school facilities. The sufferers of this unrelenting bashing sun seemed to be the trekkers. At this moment, Toa Fen had already made the necessary preparation. Her room, which was as beautiful as many colorful flowers, maintained a serene atmosphere. The scent of the room was pure and faint. It was never pungent. She also had high-end accessories and sofas. Carefully considering the room, one might think that the room was sizeable than the others in the school. However, it was because of the unique arrangement and appearance. Toa Fen's room included a mini home theater. She laid an assortment of drinks, alcohol mixed within them. At this moment, she came out of the bathroom with a towel on her head. She let her hair flutter to the wind; a white towel clung to her chest and covered her bulbous waist. Even the towel couldn't hide away her plump chest—she was a beauty with curves.

Her coming out was only to actuate the home theatre. And after she did, she went for the make-up mirror; she used the hair dryer lying uselessly there to dry her hair. The room couldn't hide the air blowing sound as her hair fluttered with the wind generated by the dryer. After a while, Toa Fen came out with her casual wear. She looked stunning and spoilt; it was different from her other appearance when she wore her uniform or official wear. That's because she looked like a spoilt madam with hair hanging loose—she didn't bother to tie them up. Although Toa Fen had always appeared like an obdurate spoilt brat, her school uniform made her look more mature, possessive, and bossy.

Just as she came out, she saw her phone ringing; she went for it. The caller was Lan Mei.

"I'm standing before your door."

"Okay, I'll get the door for you." Toa Fen said. Before now, she appeared feistily cheeky, looking almost exotic from her usual demeanor. However, her friend's appearance had changed her bearing once again to that of a leader.

Lan Mei entered the room after some wasted period. Even as she entered, she felt something wasn't right, but she couldn't detect any of it, and that's because Toa Fen pretended like a tortoise.
