The Seventh Base

The qualification round ended with over two hundred contestants entering the knockout stage.


After this knockout round, the top one hundred would emerge.


This grand Transcendent tournament rapidly determined the top one hundred finalists, and the format of the first two rounds was actually quite brutal, with an extremely low advancement rate.


But with so many participants, this was the only way to swiftly eliminate the vast majority and thus select the strongest of the lot.


It wasn't necessarily the case that only the strongest were filtered through, for instance, Li Kaiyun and Lantis were both formidable yet they were still knocked out.


But that's how competitions are, inherently dramatic.


The upcoming knockout stage will place these remaining two hundred plus contestants in the same arena, eliminating more than half of them, leaving only the top hundred as finalists.
