It was obvious Enough that SiChen would stop. And YiMing could guarantee it.
SiChen then turned to look at her. He seemed frustrated by the continuous troubles she was presenting to him.
He simply stared at her as she began speaking "Well...I know you might not agree, but I want to try and I want to convince you to help me with The sad ghost's problem. You're the only person who can help her get the happy ending she wants" She said.
He was mute and distant for a while as he stared at her. Then he ran a hand through her hair "First, you go against me and my duty to save that ghost, and now you're coming back to me for help? Does that even make sense?" He questioned.
"I just hope you can do this for me. Just This Once " She requested hoping he'd show his good side!
"Let me make this clear to you Miss Wu Yi- Ming" there was a way that he called Her name which always triggered her anxious State
"We are Grim reapers..and not so charity ghost helpers. My job is to catch a ghost and take them to the afterlife and not to help them... Understood?"
He made it as simple as he could.
She stood there staring at him as though she didn't get a thing. But she was hoping for something.
"I'll only do something for you," He said.
With that, her hopes went sky High! She was hoping for something!
"The best I can do for you now is not punishing you for setting her free in the first place and destroying my watch, And also to give you a chance of amendment. When you're done playing with the ghost, call me and I'll take her home"
He said plainly and he turned and walked away, disappearing into thin air.
YiMing stood there watching as he left, a frown clouding her expression.
She couldn't believe the nerve of this young man! As she expected, he was heartless and inconsiderate.
She couldn't help but wonder if he at least had a heart!
With a sigh, she had lost her utmost hope of helping the ghost.
Now all she had to do was walk home while thinking of another possible alternative that seemed to be impossible to think through.
She wondered if she could feel good by forgetting about it? No, she guessed not. She had gotten herself entangled with helping the ghost now she couldn't back down.
With another long sigh, YiMing didn't hesitate but walked through the empty street hoping to find her way out and home soon.

From a distance, he stood there under a particularly dimly lit streetlight while he watched YiMing leave.
He had both hands carefully dug into the pockets of his overcoat and his black hat partly covering his face.
"It's not that he stopped my plan... It's not like he stepped right in and saved her..." He said to himself" It was just that she couldn't have been killed even if he wasn't there..."
He let out a sigh followed by chill smokes that filled the air, illuminated by the dimly lit streetlight.
"If the Heavens aren't with you ..Then what on earth is... Interesting... Simply interesting" He Said to himself.

Lili couldn't recall how long she had been in her car, but she was certain it had been Hours!
She had been in the car all day, simply thinking of how she was going to get this done with. And before she knew it, it was already night.
She had her hands gripped on the Stirling as she looked out through the front window before her.
She was just Infront of the cemetery.
Her thoughts were clouded with doubts and undeniable fear. Her eyes lingered on the dark scene before her.
it was a cemetery for crying out loud! a place for the dead! What in the sweet heavens was a living lady like her doing here and in the middle of the night?
It was absurd. But it wasn't like she had a choice.
She closed her eyes and had a deep breath. Then she flung them open.
Lili alighted from the car and slowly closed the doors. She had second thoughts about the whole thing but she likewise had no choice.
She led her staggering feet into staggering steps towards the entrance and when she got there, she inhaled and exhaled a million times before letting herself in.
The place was dark, Not even a flying eagle could be seen from any distance. The dim lights Kept at intervals were therefore officially useless!
Not only based on imagination but one could have sworn to hear various unpleasant sounds across the area!
The atmosphere of the dead had filled Lili's mindset sending her feet into further shivering.
With the unseen bird crying from distance and uncertain sounds rising! Who could spend another minute here!
And Just like that, Lili turned, regretting her choice of coming here!
Yeah, she was afraid of offending SiChen whom she wasn't sure was human or not, but still, this was even scarier now!
She had wanted to run for her dear life, wanted to flee the cemetery and jump right into her car taking the road down home!
But then the classics happened, she slipped over who knows what and fell.
The fall was another fright that almost took her life!
She had Fallen on a grave!
Without even bothering to wait and recover from the pain of the fall, she jumped up to her feet but before she could take more steps to her running.
"I can help you..."
She heard a voice say.
