From Perfection to Tragedy

Promise Center, Santa Rosa, California, 12:00 P.M, September 10th, 2006 (American date)

Peter Lucrane was standing by the alter with his lovely bride by his side. He was 174cm tall and he had long black hair that shimmered in the church's lights. He had a small moustache and shiny emerald eyes. He was thin, as if his mouth had never even touched junk food.

The woman opposite him, his soon to be bride, was Luisa. This will be the last day she will be known as Luisa Pheonix, today she will become Luisa Lucrane. She wore an elegant bride's dress that made her look like she was a swan, she was thin, but not as thin as her soon to be husband and she was not pregnant yet. Her bosom was A-cup size.

This was the most beautiful moment of Peter's life.

Soon the priest finished his duty and Peter uttered the words that would bind him and his bride together for the rest of their lives.

"I do!" Peter exclaimed with a heart full of love, and once the priest spoke those magical words of matrimony: 'you may now kiss the bride,' Peter and his bride kissed, and it was completely amazing.

Lucrane Villa, Santa Rosa, 8:30 P.M

Peter and his newly wed wife entered the Lucrane Villa which was atop a hill, the first two they met upon entry were Peter's mother and brother.

The name of Peter's brother was David Lucrane, he was tall and mysterious with his short hair dyed a violet hue and a magician's top hat on his head. His velvet magician's coat fluttered even though there was no wind. His green eyes glowed mysteriously.

Peter's mother was Diane. An old lady with a medium tummy and some grey hair. She was 143cm tall and she wore a scarf that she knitted herself. She wore a white dress adorned with the images of beautiful flowers. She may have been old, but her face and sapphire eyes were still young.

The trio entered the dining room and waited for Alex Dolven to bring the food prepared by the chef.

When Alex served the food, they began eating and they took turns discussing everything that had occurred during the time they spent apart. It had been some time since the family was together, so each of them, including the new addition, had many stories to tell.

David explained in little detail how he had entered the magician profession (not to be confused with a Questlands wizard) and he claimed that it was his true calling. Diane told them that she had been keeping busy and said that she was not ready to be put into a nursing home.

They each had a wonderful time explaining tales of their lives since their last meeting.

"Would anyone like a glass of wine?" David inquired after Lyra, the female housekeeper, moved away the dishes.

"Yes." The rest of the family replied simultaneously.

"Red or white?" David added as he was not sure of the others' preferences.

"I will have white wine." Diane replied.

"Me too." Luisa added.

"I'll have red wine brother." Peter added.

"Then, I too, shall have red wine." David spoke. He and Alex Dolven, a steward working for the Lucrane family at their villa, went down into the wine cellar.

David sook out the white wine and Alex searched for some red wine. They soon found what they were looking for. Both bottles in question caught both Alex and David's eyes as perfect drinks for this celebration.

They headed back to the table and David split off from Alex to get a bucket and then went back into his seat and he took the red wine and opened it under the table. Once he had opened it, he placed it upon the table.

Alex opened the bottle of white wine and served it to the lovely Lucrane ladies. David poured the red wine for him and his brother.

They each took a sip of their wine simultaneously. David spat out his wine after a bit into the bucket he brought.

"Why on earth would you do that?" Diane exclaimed.

"Sorry," David spoke. "But I've been a part of an alcoholics anonymous group for about three months now and it would be a terrible omen if I were to ruin my progress because my brother got married."

The other people at the table simultaneously nodded in agreement.

Alex returned later to collect the empty wine glasses and during this time Peter and his newlywed wife began to leave their seats, however, Peter was having trouble getting to a standing position.

"Peter, are you okay?" Luisa asked worryingly.

Peter began to stumble.

"Peter, are you alright?" David inquired with a concerned look on his face.

"Peter!" Diane yelled with the hope that her exclamation would help Peter stand upright. But regardless of all the efforts to aid Peter's condition, Peter still collapsed to the ground.

"Peter!" Luisa exclaimed, frightened for her life. She tried to awaken her husband, but it was too late!

Peter had died on the cold tiled floor of the villa, right beside the seat he chose to sit in earlier.

After a few moments, Diane got up. She still had tears flowing from her eyes and she walked sadly to the closest telephone and called the best detective she was aware of; Dr Daniel Smith.

Dan was of course happy to travel to the Lucrane's Villa to solve this death under mysterious circumstances.
