Joey's POV

Joey was sure of what he needed to do but before he did any of that. He needed to make sure that he got some fun. He had been low key these last few weeks and he was sure that he deserved some fun.

He watched Sheila walk out of his door, grunting something that he couldn't exactly make out. She was Irish but she was born here and that made her accent a lot less of where she was from.

The fire was still there though, he told himself.

The fire that they carried in their bones still resided in her and there was no way that he would ever take that for granted. He was sure that he wouldn't amount to much more than a playboy when he found her. She made him become more and they've been friends ever since.

A lot of people would always wonder why he didn't date her. There were plenty reasons why.

All the women that he had dated had somehow found their way out of his life for good and that was not what he wanted for her.
