He peered from the rear mirror to take a look at her face. She really looked like a dream that he had been having for far too long. She looked like Lizzie even down to her jawline.
He had missed her so badly that it would ache but he wanted to remind himself that this was not her. He was simply doing a good deed or at the very least he was trying to do just that without any prejudice or bias.
He was way beyond his depth here and he knew it but he sort of wanted to see just how far he could take this without losing himself or at least that was what he told himself.
The truth was he couldn't quit even if he wanted to. He couldn't quit now.
"Is this the place?" he heard her say as he brought the car to a halt.
"You know it?" he asked her, surprised.
"Yeah." She told him as she clutched her arms to herself. "Not in the good way though." She added.
