Lunch Time date

The two of them walked in silence as if they were scared not to upset the delicate balance that they had sought after in the last few minutes. They were past the park now and they still had not said anything.

She did not want to pry in his business but she had not checked a lot of things before that had decided to go on the date. The fact that he had said that he liked her was proof enough that he had to be single. Or at least she thought that was what it meant. It had to be right? She wondered inwardly as she stared away from him, letting her mind and her face wander around.

She started at the sunny clouds that hide the reflection of the sun behind them. She knew that there was no way he did not have a reason for not wanting to indulge her wish to kiss him. She had imagined it for more than it was healthy.
