It was better this way. I mean, I'd only known her for a week. It was a week but I felt like I'd know her for a lot longer. The thoughts played through my mind as I gently covered her with the duvet. The bed was big enough for us both to sleep in without ever having to touch each other.

One other thing she didn't know was she always seemed to find me on the bed. She instinctively did things like place a hand on me or drag me closer. I barely slept most of the time so I took notice of most of these things. Truth be told, it was making me fall hard for her and fall very fast.
