Stop Nora

Isabel's POV ...

I took the stairs quickly as I left Callie's room.

Callie may have been too sweet and angelic to see what was obviously in front of her. It was her mother-in-law who had started that rumor.

It made sense. She had the motive and she had made it public knowledge to all who listen that Kameron and Flo were the perfect matches for one another.

She had the motive to want to do it, and I knew Nora well-she was a woman who loved the control and thought duty overruled morals and things like love. I had oftentimes admired her for her stances because I always felt like it made her a formidable Luna. But now that she was interfering with the future of this pack, it felt personal.

I walked straight to Nora's house where I knew I would find her. Thankfully I had been right. I found her car parked in her driveway.

I had not prepared what I was going to say at all. I was just going to go with whatever felt right.
