Save Me

Felix's eyes widened as he looked around Holly's room. There was no sign of Holly there.

The balcony door was still open. The wind and the smell of smoke came in, blowing the curtains. The blanket that Holly had put on was still hanging there. This place was still the same as the last time Felix saw it.

Felix sharpened his nose. He didn't smell a human being here. Did Holly run away? Or was someone else kidnapped her and using a suppressant?

Felix looked around the room. Holly was completely gone. In a situation like this, Felix should have panicked looking for Holly, but he felt something strange.

"Your Majesty." A bodyguard suddenly came after Felix.

"What is it?"

"Our knights come back. The humans are gone."

Felix's frown deepened. He decided to go out, following the guard first.

Cass and Gilbert were back with a confused faces.

"The village caught fire, but everyone survived. No residents were injured," Gilbert said.

"All the humans just left." Cass looked around. She also sensed that something was not right here.

Felix sighed. Now he understood what had happened.

"The Queen is gone," Felix said calmly.

Everyone there was wide-eyed. "What?"

"This is a trap. Their goal is to get Holly," Felix said. He is pretty calm, even though Felix usually panics the most if something happens to Holly.

Cass and Gilbert looked at each other. What actually happened here?

Holly groaned. She tried to lift her head which was sore and heavy. Her vision was blurry, and the darkness made her unable to recognize her surroundings.

"Where am I?" she muttered as she tried to sit up.

Holly remembered she was in her room when a foreign man entered. Holly asked who the man was, but suddenly, a hard object landed on her head. She didn't realize if there was a third person in her room.

Now she woke up in this dark room.

Holly rubbed her eyes. Slowly, she began to get used to the little light that lit up the room. A torch was placed away from her.

Holly looked left and right, it looked like an underground room. There are bars around it. This was a prison.

Holly tried to stand up with a limp as her body still hurt. She was holding on to the bars. In front of her was a long hallway, but on either side, there was a lot of empty space. There was no one here but her.

"Hello?"

Holly tried to call someone, but only her echoes answered.

The bars were locked and wouldn't open even if Holly tried to push them. She was really stuck here.

"Adda? Cass? Gilbert?" Holly tried to call them one by one.

No answer.

"Felix?"

"Your Majesty?"

Still, no one answered. Holly was getting scared.

"Help me." Holly's voice weakened.

It was very dark and silent. Holly sank into the darkness alone, and she began to panic.

Holly decided to sit on the floor, hugging her knees to hold back tears. Where is this? Did Felix imprison her because she tried to escape? What should she do now?

Holly helpfully sat there for hours. Suddenly there was the sound of shuffling footsteps. Holly gasped. She stood back up, looking down at the dark end of the hall.

The sound of the feet grew louder as that person got closer to Holly.

Holly gasped in disbelief. It was the old lady.

"Why are you here?"

The old lady chuckled. Her laugh reminded Holly of the witch that Holly used to see in the theatre.

Holly was starting to notice it. It wasn't Felix who imprisoned her, but this old woman. Humans.

Holly panicked. It was a trap. This old woman deliberately took her by force because Felix knew Holly would leave.

"Where is Arthur?" Holly raised her voice.

The old woman laughed again. She seemed satisfied to see Holly angry with her.

"If he was with me, you couldn't be here, could you?"

Holly clenched her fists. She lied. From the start, she only used Arthur to trick Holly.

"What do you want?"

The woman smiled slyly. Holly was sick to see it. Disgusting.

"How could we lose The Queen? What did the palace guard do?" The officials started to get rowdy in the meeting that morning.

"We have to do something, Your Majesty." Astragus also spoke up.

This morning Felix gathered all the officials to tell them what really happened. They all look angry and panicked by Holly's disappearance.

Felix watched them in amusement. Their acting was compelling. Felix was sure that in their hearts, they must be overjoyed by this incident.

Felix studied them one by one. One of them could be the mastermind. But, if they are clean, Felix must be prepared for something bigger.

"Your Majesty, we must save Her Majesty immediately." Cass finally spoke.

Among everyone in the room, only Cass and Gilbert looked genuinely worried.

Felix was still calm. Too quiet for a Felix.

"Why in a hurry? She can't die." Felix's answer left people speechless in shock. They must not have expected Felix to say that. How could he calm when his Queen was in danger.

"But they can torture her!" Gilbert, who was usually silent, was now half-screaming because Felix had taken this matter too easy.

"So what? She is immortal now. Whenever we save her, she stays alive."

Everyone was confused by Felix's reaction. Even Cass and Gilbert were confused too. They couldn't guess what Felix was planning.

Holly hugged her knees. Holly was sure she had been here for hours. Unfortunately, there was only darkness and a torch here. She didn't know if it was day or night.

Her stomach was starting to get hungry, but she could still hold it in. She was used to being hungry. Not eating for a day or two was no big deal for her.

Holly crying over her fate which always ended like this. She thought she could live happily after becoming a Queen. Or at least she could find Arthur and go to a safe place with her brother.

All her dreams were shattered, and she was trapped here. Will Felix save her? At first, Holly thought Felix would help her. But Holly remembered Felix's gaze. He definitely wouldn't want to see Holly again.

Holly started to sob. Looked like she was the unluckiest person in the world.

"Are you just going to just sit there and cry?"

Holly suddenly looked up at the sound. His teary eyes widened.

In the dim light of the torch, she could clearly see Felix standing in front of her.
