"What?"
Holly held her breath and froze when Felix mentioned Arthur.
"The person who helped you yesterday, was it Arthur?"
Holly shook her head quickly. In her heart, she hoped Felix didn't smell Arthur on her. But if Felix knew, he didn't need to ask Holly. Holly shifted her sit away from Felix and didn't look into his eyes. Holly tried to catch her breath so as not to look nervous.
"Something seems odd," Felix muttered as he changed position to sit next to Holly.
Holly was still tense, sitting stiffly like a broken doll. She jumped in surprise when Felix suddenly touched her hand. Felix was also surprised by Holly's reaction, but he chuckled then.
"Why are you surprised? Is something bothering you?"
Holly shook her head again. "I was only thinking about our wedding in a few days."
"Yes. There's a lot to do before the wedding. And, I'm sorry. You couldn't take the flowers. I'll bring them for you."
