Chapter 30: Yours Truly

Michael’s POV

My heart was hammering in my chest. Jane knew everything and I had no idea what she planned to do with this newfound knowledge. There was no doubt that she was going to tell Havana everything, but when? Did I have enough time to stop her or warn Havana myself? I should have told Havana everything as Jack had said.

It was too late now to change the past. I had to come up with a plan and fast. What could I say or do to make Jane keep what happened between us a secret?

"What do you plan on doing with this?"

Nervous didn't begin to explain what I was feeling. It was as if a ton of bricks had collapsed on top of me, suffocating me slowly. I was out of options. All I could do now was plead with her, reason with her.

I couldn't lose Havana, not now. I wasn’t prepared to lose her especially when I just got her. Jane smiled softly at me; it was more menacing than sweet.

"You'll know soon enough."
