Michael’s POV
Havana narrowed her eyes, her nose scrunched up as she listened to Jane attempt to bargain her way out of punishment. It was out of my control. If I let every wolf that committed treason bargain their way out of punishment, then there would be no order. There would be no respect for me as an Alpha and no disciple for those who broke the rules.
“You think if you give them a name it’ll be undone what you’ve done,” Havana said. Her voice was cold, and her hands were clenched into fists at her side. I could feel her anger rising the more Jane spoke.
“I think Alpha Michael will see that my cooperation is more than accommodating for that petty crime. I didn’t kill you and I allowed them to find you,” Jane said. She crossed her arms over her chest, daring a disagreement to part from any of our lips.
