At a blood-thirsty castle in Dover, England, the chief vampire Lazarus has taken a woman from her home and holds her captive. He needs the blood from her to keep him young and powerful.

Nikolas must find a way to calm Ambrosia down, he does not want to her hurt, but he must control his urges to bite her also. He uses his power to mesmerize Ambrosia, she stands there still, then he uses the cover to tie her arms and legs to a chair in the room, softly. When she comes to, she looks to her wrists and legs then looks to Nikolas.


"Who are you?" She asks in a frightened voice.


"My name is Nikolas, I'm not here to hurt you!" Nikolas replied.


"What are you? Are you a Vampire? Ambrosia asked.


"I am, but I'm not like most vampires. I will not hurt you." Nikolas said.


"Why did you tie me up then?" Ambrosia said.


"I had to, you were frightened by me, and I had to find a way to calm you down." Nikolas replied.


Ambrosia just sat there thinking that Nikolas is lying to her and that he wants to suck her blood. She became silent, Nikolas assured her that he was not going to hurt her.


"If I let you go, are you going to scream and run off?" Nikolas asked.
