At a blood-thirsty castle in Dover, England, the chief vampire Lazarus has taken a woman from her home and holds her captive. He needs the blood from her to keep him young and powerful.

Nikolas must find a way to turn Ambrosia into a vampire for his father's vampire kingdom, but he goes against his father's wishes and turmoil begins. 
Talon and Ambrosia must save Drusilla; the only way is for Talon to kill Lazarus. Will she be saved in time, or will she die in the vampire's abyss?

SECRETS IN THE SHADOWS

As it is still dark out and Nikolas is fighting off the vampire inside him to not hurt Ambrosia, he leaves the room, he finds another room to sleep in. Nikolas used all his power, and his temptation to sway away. 


When morning came, Ambrosia woke up and wondered where Nikolas had gone. She had no idea as to what happened to him. But then she thought, maybe he got embarrassed about the night before, so she got up and dressed to see where he could have gone. Then she remembered, he could not have gone too far because he can not be in the sunlight. 


Ambrosia walked around the Dream Aura and came to a room off to the side of a staircase, she walked inside and saw him sleeping under heavy blankets, that were left in the room. She found another heavy blanket and covered him up with it, she wanted to make sure that he did not get any sunlight that could possibly shine through the windows. After she covered him, she left to go out in town to search for her mother.
