Chapter 36

We raced to the Eola as fast as we could. We had no idea what we would say or do, we just knew we had to warn Fiona and the rest of the Coven. They needed to know what was coming. I was nervous on all levels. Not only that my extended family was about to be under siege but also because Carson and I were walking into the lion’s den. I knew there was a hug chance that they wouldn’t even hear us out and instead just pounce us once we entered the building, focusing only on our relationship; but we had to try.

Gabby had told us as much as she knew about Deacon’s plan. She wasn’t sure when the insurgence was happening, she just knew that it was soon. Deacon had it in his head that the days of wolves being tied to witches was over, and he was willing to do whatever it would take to make that happen. The only good thing was that we had time to warn them and figure something out; hopefully we could come up with a way to diffuse this entire situation.
