Manipulation

Paying what I owed, I left with a small parchment into the dead of the night, unable to mask the excitement I was feeling. I had everything I needed. Well, almost everything. This operation was a rushed job. So there is no time to test the response time of the city's patrol.

There were two days till the rite commenced. I could test them, but I risk jeopardizing my operation. If the patrol guards get cautious and station more guards, not including the ones within the shop, I'm screwed.

My eyes are about to get a workout tomorrow. I wonder if Crowe and Ves are doing well. God knows Crowe needs a babysitter.

I glanced towards Crimson Blades, smiling, and left, not towards the guild but rather around Crimson Ward. I needed an escape route. Five of them. Three are faints, which are actual strategic points of escape; one prime method of escape that'll be my last resort and finally method that no one but me sees.
