Trial of Fate III

I had made my way towards the Adventures encampment, pushing out my senses in hopes of sensing Cece's aura. Unfortunately, it was too chaotic. There were too many people. Out of the thousands that had made it to the forest's center, I was surrounded by at least a hundred. Ten percent. Such a low number.

I was sure of the way everything was set up. There would be an advisor just like Aenir within the inner and outer districts of the forest. There'd have to be. The first test was to test talent. And just because one has high talent doesn't mean they'll be successful. It's only willpower that can be tempered. It only takes time and commitment.

"Black Rose." Tanz, a young adventurer, said. "Lord Eryth said you might drop by. I'm to lead you to him." She looked me up and down with furrowed brows as her gaze lingered over my chest for a second or two. "Please follow me."

"Is Cece with him?"

"Who?"
