Throne of Blood and Ash

Overwhelmed by the display of the arcane, my eyes went wide as we stepped out of what appeared to be a temple settled halfway up a mountain to the majestic sight of the flying city, chained down by thick bars of metal I couldn't even begin to identify. But I could feel an incomprehensible energy bleeding a bloody red color.

"Welcome to Blood Haven!" Elnao said, pointing towards the flying city. "That is Blood Haven and below!"

And my gaze slid downwards to another city below, teaming with bliss. It was currently the high of noon, and the streets were blistering with people, noise, and animals of all kinds. Wolves, Drakes, Wyverns, and Strange Worms shaped people and more.

We stood overlooking the entire city below, lined with silver, far incomprehensible to the academy above that glowed a golden brilliance.
