Lost in thought as a downpour of rain poured from the heavens, I found myself lost beside the window. It had been a while since I was by myself: I missed my mom and dad. It had been nearly five months since I entered this world, and most of it was spent in a coma. Yet so much had happened. So many lives were lost. And I've killed so many.
Almost smiling at the thought, I stared at the rain. We weren't that high up in the skies that we could escape the rain, but we were high enough to still see the glow of the crescent moon.
"It's almost midnight." I mused, closing my eyes when a shudder rippled through my heart. Unease, sorrow, pain, and fear crawled over my flesh, paling my skin as my eyes snapped open to the red.
