I could feel Crowe's narrowing eyes focusing on me. Judging me, but I pretended not to care. You can't make everyone happy. And I'm too lazy too. If those bastards of the Eternal Flame want the smoke, Iza will burn them alive so that they may see their lord in the afterlife.

That was what it meant to have power, right?

Following Vessi into the Lecture Hall, I found that he had taken up a seat at the far end beside the door for a quick exit. I sat next to him, grinning as he begrudgingly groaned to my satisfaction.

"Vessi~" I nudged my head against his shoulder, grinning. "Did you miss Iza?"

Nearly pushing off his seat with how much force I was placing on his shoulder, he sighed. "If I say yes, will you stop bothering me?"

Vesyrn gave a low hum groan. "... Yes… I missed you. Happy?"
