"Iza is up!" I shouted, snapping my eyes open as the words came to my lips. I blinked, staring at Ves, glaring at me. "H-h-how long was I asleep? A month? Two? Gods, a year!" I panicked, looking down, unable to find any sort of weakness that came with atrophy. "I'm… fine?"
"Pfft!" Ves laughed, covering his mouth. He looked relieved, more so than I could imagine. "Yeah, you're fine. You've been out for a few hours, that's all," he said, to my relief. God only knows how bad things might have gotten if I'd been asleep longer. "How are you feeling? Hungry?"
"Iza can always eat." Rising to my feet, I glanced down, noticing I was still in my torn clothing. Only it was clean. A cleansing spell, perhaps? Ves was pretty good at arcane magic, after all. "Let me get changed."
