Emerging from a green portal, Saitama smiled as he stepped onto Dominica, where looking up, he could still see Ryuk looming overhead as well as Homelander and Dabi on the ground nearby. Although over 2 months had passed in the dimension where he was fighting his doppelganger, Saitama had specifically picked somewhere where time moved faster than it did in the DC world. The result was that while 67 days had transpired there, it had been something close to 67 minutes on the island nation.
"Hey guys, did I miss anything fun?" the bald clown asked as he strolled up to the group.
"Lex escaped, and the last of that combined fleet is leaving," Homelander replied as he looked out into the distance. "Should we go after and kill them all?
"Nah, let them go, we've pretty much won," Saitama announced as he dusted off his hands and wiped a drop of blood from his face. "Their trump card is done for. Whatever they throw at us next is all they've got left!!"
"Heh, well done, boss," Dabi complimented.
"Humans…are…hilarious!!" the Shinigami exclaimed from above.
"Yep HAHA just imagine how much the world will panic when they find out I'm unstoppable?" the villain laughed cruelly. "Ah man, I bet the Joker never got this big. Heh, if only Harley could see me now, I wonder how she'd react."
"Puddin'!!"
"Yeah, exactly like that," the bald clown chuckled.
"Uh, no, that's actually her," Dabi commented as the jester girl emerged from the jungle, her red and black costume torn up and barely clinging to her half-naked body, where he turned to her. "Where the hell did you come from?"
"Ah…you," the villainous said drearily upon seeing the flame villain. "I forget your name, I was in that ugly yellow place for so long."
"Like Dabi said, where in the world did you come from?" the grey-suited man asked.
Although he wasn't necessarily ecstatic to see his very first companion in the new world, Saitama nonetheless felt the slightest bit of relief to see her okay. His Jokerization still prevented him from genuinely caring about people other than himself, but what tiny semblance of his old personality that remained felt a tinge of contentment for her wellbeing.
"Listen, Puddin', I don't have much time," Harley continued as she rushed up to the bald clown and grabbed his hand. "Batman is back too, and whatever you do, you can't let him touch you!"
"Huh? Batman?" Saitama asked as his mouth contorted into a wide smile. "Oohhhhh he's here too? I wanna see him! I miss the old guy!"
As if to fulfill his request, a dark figure limped out of the nearby jungle where Harley had emerged from. His dark costume torn and tattered and his mask slightly askew, the Dark Knight staggered towards the group with clear intent.
"He an enemy?" Homelander asked as his eyes began to glow red.
"What's that, a knockoff Superman?" Batman asked flatly as he continued towards Saitama. "I wish I could say that it's good to see you, but it really isn't."
"Hehehe so do tell, Bats, how did you get out of wherever you took yourself to?" the villain inquired.
"I spent 289 days wandering an endless labyrinth, so I had nothing but time to think of an escape route," the caped crusader explained as he continued his slow advance.
"Boring! I don't care already," Saitama sighed as he flexed his arm. "What do you say, batboy? Up for one more tussle?"
"No need, my only goal is to rid this universe of you," Batman continued explaining as he stopped a short distance away. "I don't mind if I die. I just need to make sure that the people are safe."
Shrugging but assuming that the dark-clad hero had some kind of strategy, the caped baldy leapt at him with his fist raised. As his arm swung in a punch that threatened to obliterate Batman's head at pointblank range, Saitama kept thinking that it was just an illusion, or that the caped crusader was about use some teleporting BS to evade at the last second.
Instead, Bruce Wayne's head just exploded into a showered of blood and skull fragment.
"Well, that was anticlimactic," the bald clown stated flatly as his face went blank.
"No, Puddin', I said don't touch him!!" Harley yelled desperately as Batman's corpse began to glow blue.
"Ah, I see now," Saitama said as he held back a chuckle while a boom tube opened up beneath him. "Well played, Bats! HAHAHAHA"
Falling into the interdimensional gateway, the overpowered man had realized Batman's true plan too late. Intending to sacrifice himself, it appeared that not only had the skilled detective managed to semi-repair the mother box that brought him to the alternate reality, but he'd then surgically implanted it into his head, where upon destruction of his skull, the box fragments would activate.
Staring helplessly at where their recently victorious leader had been whisked away, Harley, Dabi, and Homelander looked at each other, unsure of what to do next.
===================================================
"HAHAHAHAH oh Batman, well played, but your sacrifice was for nothing!" Saitama laughed as he pulled out his portal gun, where the boom tube seemed to have deposited him in the middle of deep space. "Too bad he didn't know that I had this thing, because-"
The caped baldy's voice trailed off as he watched the handheld portal device suddenly become elongated and stretched out, where it sparked as it became thinner and thinner until it resembled spaghetti.
"What the?..." Saitama began as he watched his suit begin to undergo the same process, stretching off of his body as it pulled off in a certain direction while it became long and stretched like a noddle.
Turning around, the fallen hero came face to face with a supermassive black hole. Its immense gravity stretching the matter of both his portal gun and costume, rendering them both useless, Saitama couldn't help but laugh as he realized that he'd gotten Batman's plan wrong again.
It turned out that the Dark Knight had anticipated the bald clown being in possession of another device that was capable of traveling between dimensions, be it a mother box or something else. With that in mind, Batman had pre-programmed the mother box in his head so that it'd take the user to a dimension that contained something that would instantly destroy matter as soon as it entered. In this case, a reality that was filled with black holes.
"HAHAHAHAHA," Saitama continued laughing as he realized that Bruce knew that nothing to his knowledge could destroy the over-powered protagonist, but what he could do was make it so that any device that he could use to just return to the dimension would be promptly destroyed. Although not even a black hole could destroy his super-durable body, it certainly destroyed the portal gun.
Now orbiting a giant decaying star with seemingly no way to return to the universe that he was bent on mucking up, the Jokerized Saitama wondered how he was going to survive, and if his short reign of terror had already ended. Either way, even in apparent defeat, the villain couldn't help but laugh.
