Breach of Contract

Ivy stared at her expecting her to tell her about the so-called great idea that she had. But one thing was for sure. She needed something that'll at least cheer her up and Mia was right.

Mia walked up to her desk still barefooted and grabbed Ivy's arm and she stood up. Mia led the way to her huge luxurious walk-in closet.

"It's a good thing I secretly installed hot dresses for you instead of all these formal dresses you have. But I do have to admit that you have a good fashion sense and your clothes suit you very well. But try something new for once." She said, she pushed a little button that revealed another set of clothes that were completely different from the rest of Ivy's clothes.

Ivy shook her head in disbelief and she pinched the space between her eyebrows. 'How come I didn't know about this? When did she even do this?' so many thoughts were going on in her head.

As if Mia knew what she was thinking about, she said, "Well you wouldn't even notice no matter how smart you are because you hardly ever come here, I can count the times you've been here with just one hand. Also, you only have a wardrobe emergency once in a blue moon" she paused for while then continued. "And just in case you're wondering when I did it, I did it last two years. You were having a meeting and I think that must have been the longest meeting you've ever attended and I was super bored."

Ivy just looked at her indifferently, her hands folded as she leaned on the wall, her expression indicating that she should go on.

Mia laughed nervously and proudly as she continued "You know how I get bored easily so I thought of doing something adventurous and I came across your closet and caught sight of your boring formal outfits" her voice suddenly dropped as she suddenly felt cold and she knew exactly where it was coming from. Although she encountered it often, she still couldn't get used to it.

As if she didn't feel anything at all she continued talking with so much confidence "So I decided to install some beautiful, sexy ones. Smart, huh?" she asked like a child asking her parents if they were proud of her.

Ivy could do nothing but roll her eyes at her friend's craziness. 'No shame' She thought.

"Perfect" Mia said as she caught sight of a short red fitted gown. She reached out to grab it but was stopped in her tracks by a serious, calm yet chilly tone,

"Stop", she said as she approached her "What do you think you're doing?" she asked, her friend's hand still hanging midair

"G-getting you an outfit" she stuttered nervously.

'Maybe I went too far this time around, I pushed my luck, she doesn't like all this, yet I'm...'

Before she could continue in her train of thoughts, she was interrupted,

"That's barely two inches below my butt," she said as she returned to her former position but this time closer to her friend

'Oh wow, maths' Mia rolled her eyes inwardly still maintaining her somewhat remorseful expression

"I'm sorry, I'll look for another one" Mia said as she searched through the closet until her eyes caught sight of something very beautiful.

"Breach of contract, you say" the ice king repeated to himself but the others could hear him.

"Y-yes sir, Wang Enterprises is something else and I don't think they're willing to give up without a fight" Mr. Zhang voiced out.

"This is the biggest threat we've had so far and this can make the company go down in ashes. It's usually the Li corporation, that competes with us in the business world but the rate at which the Wangs are rising is alarming. They had to go as far as forcing a staff here to sign a contract and it goes against policy." Mrs. Wu said as she looked intently at the president, she was glad because he leaned back on his chair staring blankly at the ceiling.

Only God knows where she got this amount of courage from. 'What a scary man' she thought

"This is very risky for the company, we still don't know or understand how they managed to do that, but joining hands with Li c..."

Before Mr. Liu could go on the ice king yawned very loudly as if what they were saying was a boring documentary about ducks swimming in the lake

"Go on," he said coldly, as he sat upright making the board members feel a chill run down their spines, especially Mrs. Wu who thought she finally got what it took to finally stand up to him, but all that fell drastically like a sandcastle a kid worked so hard to build.

"W-w-well y-you see t-the Li corporation is at the peak of success. As you can see Qin empires and Li corporations are the top two companies in the country, but the Wangs are..."

"Can we skip to the part where you guys shut up and end this long, boring story, I'm getting super bored" he cut in as he leaned back on his chair again

"Joining hands w..." Mrs. Wu said but was cut short

"And how am I going to do that?" he asked them with a scrutinizing gaze

"..."

"Meeting dismissed! You guys better come up with something" he said as he walked out of the conference room.

They didn't realize that they were holding their breaths for a long time until they let out a heavy sigh of relief.

Just as he was about to enter his office, someone suddenly hugged him from behind. It was a soft but irritating hug. Before he could peel the hands from his body, the person finally spoke.

"I missed you so much Xavi baby" it was a soft feminine voice, that voice that annoyed him to the core. He could deal with anything but women... these creatures were like pests that never die no matter how hard you try to kill them. That was his only weakness.

He clenched his jaw so hard that his jawline was so visible. The strong scent of the woman's perfume, made his stomach churn.

She finally released him and came in front of him. Her hair that she dyed blonde danced behind her. Her red fitted gown accentuated her perfect curves.

"Did you miss me baby?" she asked as she bit her lower lip seductively.
